Yeah, but which one? Porkins is currently leading the race for fattest KPF, and that's possibly the first race he's ever led.

The simple things are the funniest. Genuinely laughed reading that.EFA.
I went to school with Dion, couldn't get a better bloke into the club!I have a feeling we will go hard at prestia
That is Exactly what i was thinking!!Scott Selwood?
Really?
Sounds like he's got a good head on his shoulders.I went to school with Dion, couldn't get a better bloke into the club!
I remember on our last night of year 12 he almost belted M. Talia down at the pub because he saw him drunk and smoking (the night before he had a meeting with GWS recruiters) and didn't want him to waste his chance.

Would be a perfect fit and would be a genuine Sam Mitchell succession plan.I have a feeling we will go hard at prestia
Even has good leadership skills maybe even our future captainWould be a perfect fit and would be a genuine Sam Mitchell succession plan.
What are you willing to give up, seeing as he is contracted for another 2 years?Even has good leadership skills maybe even our future captain
Signed an extension this year didn't he?What are you willing to give up, seeing as he is contracted for another 2 years?
He ain't going anywhere firstly and we would have to give up a massive amount to get him over even if he did want to. You're already talking about him maybe being our future captain lol.Even has good leadership skills maybe even our future captain
Spoke to prestia's mum a couple of years ago, doesn't sound like he's any chance of moving.I went to school with Dion, couldn't get a better bloke into the club!

Anyone think we maybe making a play for a key forward next year? If Schoemakers can't hold a key forward spot in 2015 and considering O'Brien is at least another 1-2 years away from becoming a regular starter in our team, another key forward would be reasonably handy.
Not sure to be honest. Rough must have 5 years at least, since Budd has 8. With Gunston as a third tall and the fact we like playing a ruckman down there, am not sure we'll go after one unless a really good one became available at the right price. The club obviously feels TOB will make it and we also have Shem on the way.
Would rather add a A grade mid.
I think if we have a guy like Sicily who is good over head but still lethal at ground level then it doesn't matter so much about the height of your tall forward. Its about having a match up that we can win and one that isn't going to be a liability on the rebound.Yeah apart from backup players, i'm not sure we need another KPF. Unless we can get another athletic freak capable of running and playing in other positions, i can't see us going with a 4 tall forward line again. Obviously those players are extremely rare, and of the players capable of fitting into that role with our forward line, none of them would come at a price even close to what we could/would give up.
I'd love to see us try out some different looks with our forward line. Putting guys like Rioli, Burgoyne, Hodge, etc. one out at full forward would give teams nightmares, and might be something we see more with those guys aging/being injury prone.

Sorry, yes I am essentially agreeing with you!True, but i wouldn't really call Sicily a KPF. Playing Sicily would be like having Hodge, Burgoyne, Lewis, etc. up forward for stints, which we do now. In terms of the conversation of whether we need to go an buy another KPF, i was just saying i don't think it's needed, and that it's unlikely we could get an agile enough KPF to make the 4 tall forward line work.
As CLA said, i would rather target a midfielder, as there will likely be a need for elite mids for us in the coming years.
That is true, however usually for the less athletic and agile KPF's.Sorry, yes I am essentially agreeing with you!
We will need a roughy replacement soon as KPF take time and Most KPF show a big decline after their 28th birthday. Hoping roughy is ever green but got to prepare for the worst.
Any hope for Sam Grimley doing anything AFL worthy in 2015?
Haven't heard or seen anything about him since being rookie listed. Would've liked to have been hearing how he is training with huge intensity like a man who knows he's on his last chance.
