Interesting that Dangerfield is still yet to categorically nominate the Cats.
Possibly trying to build value and interest before he takes the plunge.

Prototype inside/out footballer.. Has got a good frame now, looks like he has muscled up. Lacks some pace but not Mitchell/Dal Santo slow, definitely has comparable foot skills to the both of them, to be fair he would be one of the best kicks in the league. He would thrive in our program!

I've said this before but my little cousin played all under 18s/Vic etc with JOR and after the BHH game on the weekend he has a chat. The difference between our program and GWS's is incomparable, JOR needed this year to understand and adapt to the Hawthorn way.

Aish coming would be huge, throw in the fact we have JOR then we would have pulled off the number 2 pick from 2012 draft and number 7 from 2013 draft. That's huge! We are in great shape for the future and the much anticipated fall from grace will have to be re-thought lol.
With you all the way on this. :thumbsu:

And Langers, Shiels and Jed give you tough player makers who allow Aish, JOR and Howe to use their skills. Sounds good

Sounds great!! Really need Jedi to have a huge pre season, the talent is crazy in that kid.. Langers needs to improve his decision making, kick and hope isn't good enough for Hawthorn and he'd know that.. Get the feeling JOR will be huge for us next season.

I hear that Langer's youngest brother James will be a dead set gun mid, if this is the case 2016 or is it 2017 looks good. He will further assist with the replenishment of or retiring stars.

Anyone watch the BH development squad much? Interested to see how Lachlan Langford did this year.

Better second half of the year.

Starting to get his body right and play footy week in, week out. Still a long way off. Slight frame that needs 4 or so years to fill out. Lacks endurance at this stage, spends a lot of time on the bench. Played a bit down back and CHF/wing.

With Hodge, Mitchell and Burgoyne all signing on, if they keep up a good level... I don't see next year being any different to this year. Burgoyne has already shifted to defense, Hodgey plays everywhere, and Mitch indicated he played off HB a lot. Still after all these moves, we still couldn't get the kids in. Who makes way if Mitchell Burgoyne and Hodge are still performing?

Honestly, I don't see Mitchell and Hodge dropping their level that much. Burgoyne... his class will mean he's always needed also.

How Barrett has a job in the media is beyond me. The guy has zero credibility.
Come on, mate. Since when was credibility, or even a modicum of intelligence, a criterion for being employed in the media? Sounds to me a perfect job for the witless.

Daniel Gorringe as cheap ruck insurance anyone?
He'd be worth looking into. May have the potential to be another Ceglar or Hale for us. Plodder on the surface but may have scope to play well.

Perfect age profile for us too and would allow Pittonet a good VFL grounding.

Hopefully he gets delisted like Ceglar...
