Got a mate working in admin at the oval and he said, "3 drills in and Fyfes looking the goods."

Saw Fyfe at training and he was going great in the drills and there were no bandages on him. It was a closed session but there were spots to get a view.

The Boys mostly all wore different jumper numbers today so Gossage's Sydney spy probably couldnt see Luke's number out in the middle. Good trick RTB now Sydney thinks Elvis isnt playing.

now that buddy is out Mcpharlin isn't as key as previously (since he generally towels buddy up). So not too stressed if he doesn't play. Especially if its raining.

Yeah, agree. Something will be up. It could be just something on the day, sick or or what not, but if he's not there, then there's an issue.

Just have to hope that it's not a long term thing - in which case they'll likely name him and they'll make a call late on the day.

Yeah, we won't know for sure until Saturday (duh). He'll definitely get named if for no other reason than to disrupt the Sydney's planning.

If it's wet & Mcpharlin is ruled out, play Pearce back. A lot easier for him to play on a marking fwd if it's slippery. Back the young fella in.
Could swing fwd too.

I reckon Macca will be right but. If he was injured, I'd say someone would know given the hype around ATM.

That's not really an option. Johnson never plays completely loose. He always has a man to be accountable for (usually a resting ruck/third tall type).

If McPharlin plays it would be more like

Tippet - Dawson
Reid - McPharlin
Goodes - Johnson

And Ibbo plays on a small.

Basically, the way I see it, if Luke doesn't play, Ibbo takes his spot. Which is not the end of the world. (Despite the fact I'd obviously rather have Luke in the team.)

100% right... Lyon has refused to appear with GW ever since he slandered Ross with his distasteful, deceitful,duplicitous comments when he left the 'aints. Robbo referred to it earlier in the year as well.
