I'll have Parker squeeze in by lockout as well and Tom Mitchell has been in since the beginning.

Yeah I have Parker, Danger, Rocky, Duncan and at the moment Ah Chee (Port) as a POD at the moment.

Need a good, cheap mid starter that will get consistent game time. Already got Mills - he should be a lock for round 1. Are Menadue and Mathieson likely to play straight up? The other one is Lachie Weller but he doesn't seem to be a fantasy friendly player.
Menadue should start Round 1, I'd now be very surprised if he didn't. He will have to play well to keep his spot however, defiantly at the fringe of our Best 22. With outside players Yarran, Grigg, Edwards (touch and go it seems) all miss at the first couple of games (Hunt and Conca will also miss out but are a bit different type of players) if he hasn't really performed he could be on the chopping block.

Do you have the money to afford Wells?

What does everyone think about Nick Graham?
I've jumped on the ol' bandwagon, just him put in my team after last weekend. Was really impressive last season but then got injured and missed the rest of the season. His performances in the NAB Challenge indicated he'll be ready to start the season just as good, if not better than last season.

Great to hear.. anyone likely to push him out the side? Or does he look good enough (form permitting) to at least stay in until his bye?
I cant see him gettint pushed out at all.

He was the sub a lot last year after he got his break, and before that it was only a seemingly vendetta against him by Malthouse that stopped him before that.

He, Kerrige and Cripps will be our engine for the season.

FlowersByIrene do you reckon the Blues will surprise with a decent showing in round1?
I have a lot of faith in Bolton, i think we have some good youth and im looking forward to it. I dont know how the game will go, but i think it will be good footy ro watch.

We'll get burnt off of turnovers but I think we'll move the ball well otherwise

Not just for fantasy, but I really rated the Menzal/kerridge trade. I remember getting berated on the main boards saying Menzal was a player that you cant have in a bottom team (Similar to a Jetta, just icing on the cake) and Kerridge was quality just didnt have opportunity.

Back on topic, I also think with the turnover, regarding fantasy there are a few players that are hugely relevant for DT this year. Kerridge/Graham/Cripps are all currently in my team in the midfield and I reckon someone like Murphy under a new coach could get back to his 100-110 average (statistically he struggled under malthouse, bolton may bring new life)

From what i've seen over the preseason i can say this about carlton.

1. We'll be one of the best clearance teams in the competition again (we were last year, Cripps is too good plus everyone else)
2. Clearances will lead to possesions for our inside mid group, which will be Cripps, Graham, Kerrige, Gibbs and Murphy.
3. We will play a high possession game, especially off of half back, moving the ball laterally and handpassing on the connect. Which should benefit players like Weitering, Docherty, Simpson and Touhy.
4. But we will turn the ball over at half forward or in the forward line and we wont kick a lot of goals except from midfielders.

I think we'll play a fast flowing game, high scoring fantasy wise and im getting on a few blue baggers

Crazy that Jack Steven might be a POD this year at @ only 5% ownership.
Got on him last year which was awesome when he broke out, i think with ablett, rocky, o meara, crouch, libba and duncan all under priced, it seems like there is more value in other selections. Thats why im avoiding the top end mids anyway.
