The top 8 is set in stone IMO. Is this the earliest that a top 8 has been decided in a season? Only real chance is Port making it and Adelaide dropping out but that's a stretch. Anyone think any other teams can make it?

Jetta offered a week. Vince cleared. Talk of Max Gawn being "rested" for the Brisbane game. Ablett may miss after being concussed on the weekend. Hoping for us punters with 40+ totals that teams playing the Suns and Lions don't rest stars. We need the blowout margins. Then again, how much difference would it make?

They beat an Essendon reserves team by 16 last week. Week before they best the saints by 7. Line is on the money for mine. But no Kreuzer and Casbolt helps them.

The question was posed in the Herald Sun's Barometer article today. Certainly not gospel, but he did leave the ground on the weekend, then came back after a spell. With percentage mattering, you'd think they'd field their best available team.

And Carlton's beaten 4 of the poorest teams in the competitions by a combined 36 points. I reckon they will get a wake up call this week, bad spot for them after North played so poorly in the second half.
