2016 fixture wishlist

This season has been an utter trainwreck, already been looking forward to the next season's fixture to be released for ages.

Some of my wishes:
- Afternoon home game against either Port Adelaide or Richmond very early in the season when it's still hot up here. As the home team we should nominate to wear our clash guernsey and force the other team to wear their heat inducing home black jumpers.
- Away game in Melbourne in the weekend of April 9-10, but not on the Saturday night. Roar play Victory in Melbourne same weekend so would be a perfect trip for me to make.
- Hawthorn to play at the 'Gabba (or at least not sent to Tassie again).
- Play Melbourne, Essendon and the scum late in the season, rather than mid or early, as those teams usually lose their form late on.
- Game against the scum at the MCG again (preferably late in the season). That 2014 trip down there to watch us smack them in front of their feral fans was a memorable experience. I want to do it again.

I agree. But this is a wishlist.

Think we deserve one, and believe it would be good to get some FTA exposure outside QLD. Will need to ensure it doesn't clash with Broncos who play almost exclusively on Friday nights.

We shouldn't be denied the benefit of Friday night games, although our performance last time we had one was not great.

This year has been the worst in memory for Friday night games, possibly due to so many involving Carlton. AFL will probably fixture 5+ Essendon games on Friday night next year.
