Great membership number. Ive been a Dogs member for a few years now and its so great to be part of these record breaking membership years for the club. I now believe a bit more that we can get 50,000 members in the future.

If I find out of the new ones jumped the line and bought the best of the grand final tickets by paying stupid money on the one year they selectedly decide to support the club I would be royally pissed. All the reasons I still think it was one of the more idiotic things I've seen the club do to introduce that to a club like ours (where the most passionate supporter base is generally on more limited incomes) mid season. Ha ha ha, that's ok, Hawthorn have been doing it for years. Have a look at their crowds at Etihad, 5 mins from the MCG, yet about 20-30k turn up. Where's the 70+ thousand they're supposed to have? We get bigger crowds, yet we have 30,000 less! Go figure! This after winning the last 3 flags! Weak as piss.

Well after our last prelims we maintained 30k after breaking into it and falling back down.
