In case anyone was curious, here are the top 5 goal kickers from the NAB games (SGs count as goals):

1. Taberner: 6.0
2. Pavlich: 5.1
3. Ballantyne: 3.1 (missed 2nd game)
4. Mzungu: 3.1
5. Weller: 3.0
Mayne?

Mayne missed the first game but kicked 2.4 - I don't know what has happened to his old, accurate routine ??

Barlow was another who had some chances, he kicked 1.4.

Interestingly, Walters only had 2.1. How much time has he been spending in the midfield?

Wow Weller kicked 3 from 2 games and 9 minutes. if he'd played all of NAB 3 he might well be our 3rd highest scorer after the big guys.
One wonders what KPI's we have that are considered more important than scoring, since scoring is the thing we have most trouble with.
I wonder if its Mzungu he's fighting for a spot with?
Suban must be doing some amazing blocking and other less glamorous stuff if his 9 or 10 possessions a game are going to keep Weller or Zu at Peel.

Could have been more for Tabs if he hadn't forgotten how to kick for a quarter. During the Adelaide game kicked straight to the man on the mark and followed it up by kicking one out on the full.

Interesting, I would imagine Fyfe, Walters and Bennell will impact significantly on our goal kicking leader board come the real stuff.

Suban kicked 2 goals at the Mt Barker game and also kicked the ball long out of the back half for Sonny to run onto it and he centred the ball to Ballas who turned the Crows defender inside out and goaled. Subes works harder than Weller in blocking out and he straightens us up and he has a good kick on him and is hard and aggressive at the opposition. Both Subes and Muzungu will keep the younger guys out in Rd 1.

Suban is very easy to analyse his game one not so good game tiger, good game Adelaide , not so good game cats , good game bulldogs?

Johnson will be regretting saying that when we pump his old side next week.
The Swans and us will both make the finals , i think the dogs are a big chance of having a Port 2015 year this year with there harder draw.

He said he was a star if he put it all together, but there was a reason why Gold Coast got rid of him and that he's not exactly the brilliant pick up that will make us improve. So add in terms of list improvement, not a dud player.

It was a risky trade so there will always be some discussion about that. Let's hope he proves them wrong and so far, so good.

And as for Brad Johnson, wow, I suppose I am bracing myself for a drop in form, still have us in top four but conceding we could drop into the bottom of the top eight. Would love to see his ladder for this year.
