Dream draft
11- Brodie
32- C. Cox
33- Clarke/Mutch
87- Narkle

Note: who's the African kid playing for Vic Country? Reckon he could be a good speculative pick. Seems pretty tall and knows how to find the footy.

Glad I'm not the only one who sees a bit of fyfe in Brodie, could just be the hair but something about his build and the way he moves especially when he's marking the footy or breaking out of packs is definitely reminiscent of fyfe. Is a similar height and I think he definitely has the potential to be a similar player. Remember fyfe was ranked around 30 in his draft year and wasn't even a midfielder, whereas Brodie has been a top prospect for a few years. If he slides we simply have to take him, we can target quick outside players ie Isaac Cummings, Tom Williamson, Cedric Cox, Josh Williams or Jordan Ridley at 32/33 but you have to go best available at 11.

It's the repeat efforts, the size, the breakaway, the ability to get hands away when tackled, the kicking, the contested marking and yep definitely the hair.

If get Brodie then we shouldn't get either Clarke or Mutch imo we already have too many slow inside players. If we don't get Brodie then Mutch>>>>>>>Clarke (more balanced inside/outside game, wins more of the footy, significantly better kick on both sides of his body). The guy you were thinking aboutsis Thomas Jok, he's an overage midfielder but I think his kicking is quite suspect at least from what I've seen.

My dream draft at this point is:
11- Brodie
32- Isaac Cumming (if GWS match then Josh Williams)
33- Cedric Cox
87- Quinton Narkle
RD1- Willie Rioli
RD2- Shaun Edwards
RD3- Anthony Morabito (if-and it's a big if- Saunders thinks he can get him right. Isn't currently injured as far as I know but obviously it's a big risk. Still that amount of natural talent... surely its worth a shot?)

He looks to have a bit of Josh Kennedy about him. Big body, A bit rangy , strong, not overly pretty but extraordinarily effective.
Mundy is the comparison that springs to my mind. Having taken a second look, he's faster and more prolific than I originally saw. While not the type I'd be most hoping for (SPS is the type for mine), Brodie would be a solid acquisition.

Will you be (see bold) if that pans out?

Fair points, I'd prefer Mutch too. While I have had my thoughts about Clarkes kicking known, he could be a good get if we snare Brodie, Narkle & Cox.

Brodie, Clarke & Narkle are all players that can go through the inside but all have different strengths. Like many others have mentioned you cant ignore Clarks ability to win the footy and spread hard. Clarke is the only one who is purely a contested player. At those picks in the 30's all players will have warts.

I wasn't keen on Clarke at all a few weeks ago but now see the merit in taking him with a later pick.

I really like the look of Ben Davis too. Highlights package looks solid, long term replacement for LT?
Would take him with our second or third pick.

After realising it wasn't this guy...

And watching those clips, thanks gr, I'm relieved and impressed. Auto-upgrade on the likes of Fordham at the very least you'd think. Neat and composed - knows when to kick or handball, when to stop and assess and when to go. If he has or builds a good tank, could be the much-talked-about, but ever-elusive, Gibbo-replacement.

Didn't Adelaide say they were nominating Jarman?
I thought so too but it looks like he is on the open market.

Adelaide list manager Justin Reid said there were still no guarantees the club would take Jarman at the Draft.

"We will be true to our talent order and there is still plenty of work to be done between now and the national draft," Reid said on the club's website.

"We will see how the draft selections fall compared to our list of available talent.
