(conveniently the oracle is a mere 22km from Arahova Ski Resort)

I've had (way too much) time to analyse this but it's becoming clear:

26 (no. of player to kick game breaking goals in the last quarter of the GF)
26 + 20 = 46 (no. of player to win the Norm Smith Medal)

26 + 20 - 6 = 40 (highest possession count in the GF) and
(26 / 2) + (0 x 6) = 13 (no. of player to get the highest possessions)

26 + 20 + 6 + 2 = 54 (year of last flag)
26 + 20 + 6 + 2 + 8 = 62 (years waiting since last flag)

Everything is starting to fall into place.....

After careful thought I think I'm ready to predict 2016 as hinted by the oracle:

26 ------> number of games played in 2016
This means 22 h/w and 4 finals

20 ------> number of wins in 2016
This means 17 wins regular season
3 wins during the finals series : meaning we will loose the first week of finals

6 -------> Luke Dalhaus wins either a brownlow or a norm smith

2--------> i think this means number of premierships or bob murphy lifts the cup or both

8--------> its obvious Crameri will win our goalkicking

Ok the oracle is what you make of it and these are my predictions for 2016

For me the challenges:

Making sure our defensive structure holds up well as now our mids and forwards looking very promising.

Our players being grounded and bringing the strong work ethic to the forefront which was evident in our great 2015 season.

The ruck situation will be interesting. I'm hoping we see more of Campbell next year. Can he improve?

Very excited Libba is coming back - how will he handle Bevo's game plan?

I was actually thinking back. We didn't really have the best run with injuries last year, and would hardly call the side settled either. Hoping Bevo has a better idea of our best 22. Sure, reward the guys who play well in VFL but surely the guys need as many games as they can together to get some flow happening.

3 ACLs ain't good, that's for sure! Plus Koby.

All teams get injuries. Gold Coast were not able to cover their lost manpower, but West Coast did very well considering.
The Bulldogs gave a lot of players game exposure in a year we were not expected to do well. I can put my hand up and say that I did not have us playing finals in 2015. I also did not do very well in picking team selections each week. I think we can, and will make the eight this year, with fewer players used.
This may lead to us losing a few very good players at the end of next year because of lack of playing opportunities.

The year 1 impact of this group probably hinges on Marcus Adams. Collins was drafted as a 17yo KPP, Dunkley might get a couple of games but it will be tough for him to break into the midfield, and Williams would be 50/50 to ever play in the seniors at all

The 2014 group only played 34 games though, including a few as sub. Different story if you include Boyd, Hamling, Biggs, Sucking & Adcock of course

prediction at all. Your finest prediction since Nahas for captain coach
and that was nostradamus like.

Would have thought that rapid development of the new draftees aren't necessarily required straight up. We've had a good run with newbies coming in the past few years and playing seniors fairly quickly. If the 2015 guys can force their way into seniors, they're either doing really well or we're struggling for injuries - Collins and Adams aside.

Maybe not across the whole group but I'm expecting Adams and Collins to get some decent game time? What I'll be interested in is which of the 2014 group will become best 22 or best 25ish? I know it will take a few years but I can 4 of them regular fixtures in the team at some point and with Bev's mantra of why not now it may be sooner rather than later...

Just changed thread title to update it for WADA decision. Not sure if it changes our predictions but it will make it a bit harder for us to make top 4 without Crammers. Hopefully we have no season ending injuries in the pre season.
