Not sure how O'Rourke scored over all NAB games as they've taken those stats down. Although I think he may have only played the last. He did pretty well in the that one and the Hawthorn board think that with Liam Shiels down his job security is OK for 6 rounds at least.
I'm finding it difficult to fit in Ah Chee because of the extra $60K he costs over O'Rourke.
I've got a feeling ah chee will be very special. I might gamble with him instead of b crouch or Libba. I might also be going a year early.

Libba's selected by 37% of fantasy coaches because of reputation and price but he scored 40 in 80% game time in his second nab game back and even 2 of the traders are a bit unsure about him. I just can't fit in Ah Chee as I have Matt Crouch, Billy Hartung, Clayton Oliver and Callum Mills and 4 premium midfielders.
Found the stats - they're in the fantasy tool just above the team page.

I get the same feeling and I have gone him over Libba

Hey guys,
Interested in you guys' thoughts on Sam gray. Obviously was a brilliant player in the second half of last year, and scored like a monster. However, that was achieved in the absense of Ollie Wines, who is a very clearance focused midfielder. My question is, given the fact that Sam Gray hasn't proven to be nearly as successful in any other role as he did as an inside midfielder, is he likely to receive the same share of midfield time with the inclusion of Wines and Polec? If someone has to be squeezed out of the centre bounce to another role or to the outside, would Gray, Ebert, Boak be first in line to do so due to their versatility?

Cheers for the help.

Hey guys, any idea on Sam Colquhaun, is he carrying an injury and will he get an increase in game time this year?
Thanks in advance, I am happy to answer any Bulldogs questions.

Muffins isn't best 22, look elsewhere at that price.

Will Dunkley and Adams be playing round 1?

It looks increasingly likely that Adams will play. Dunkley will get games but probably not round 1.

Gray has still been scoring well in NAB, even in NAB3 where Ollie had a fair bit of the ball. I reckon Sam Gray will get sufficient time to justify his inclusion plus he is a DPP(FWD/MID). If you're worried about his price then Ah Chee at $100K less will get 70-90.
Do you think I can start with DeGoey?

What are you expecting from Gray? And is he also guaranteed to have about 80% of his time in the midfield?

On De Goey, I do think you can start with De Goey, but he faces the same risk as Gray, since he needs to compete with a very deep midfield for a spot.

Gray should spend nearly all his time in midfield, his poor scores at the start of 2015 were due to playing him out of position in the forward line. I expect Gray to be sharing the midfield rotations with Ollie and share a similar time on ground to him. The return of Wines and Polec would at first seem to suggest there is nowhere for Gray but the suspension of Monfries has opened a door. Monfries was playing a lot more up the field than he did at Essendon and Gray is likely to replace his midfield run.

Any fitness/Wines gurus know if Ollie' cramps are likely continue into the season? Full body cramp in Jan and cramps in both preseason matches... Would love some opinions!

Not an issue IMO. Burgo was smashing them in the Adelaide heat in January, and they were playing to 2016 rotation numbers in all the NAB games. So it was a good preparation for the boys as to what to expect in season proper. Ollie is also one who doesn't hold back... Even in NAB games. He will rotate through the forward lines in real games, and will be better managed IMO

There's a player X v Y v Z thread on the main fantasy board but as this is all Port players I thought I'd put it here.

Boak v R.Gray v Ebert v Polec v Hartlett v Wines v Ah Chee (mid.)

Pittard v Broadbent v Impey (def.)

Westhoff v Wingard v S.Gray v Dixon (fwd.)

Wines then Ah Chee. Boaky will cop the most opposition attention again, his scoring in the preseason just highlights the lacking intensity in the preseason games. Ebert is interesting with our pre-bye draw but others around his price are better options (Ablett, Rockliff, Macrae, Adams, Neale, Selwood, Parker). Polec to be managed throughout the year regarding risk of recurrence of his navicular injury. Hartlett similar to Ebert.

Pittard but our defence has never scored well consistently.

S Gray then Wingard. Dixon will improve but not enough to justify picking him.

Still waiting on what happens with Brad Crouch, I was about to have Brodie Smith but preferred to go with Heath Shaw and Bachar Houli in my backline. Considering Milera, depends on what happens with DeGoey, who has forward status. I've got S.Gray and Ah Chee of Port players.
I have Matt Crouch and may use Sam Jacobs.

Finding Gray really interesting. What former Port player is he most like in game style? Don't watch enough Port games to have seen enough of him. Thanks in advance.

Very in and under, I would liken him to David Brown although the game has changed since then and Gray's ratio of kicks to handballs is 1:1 where Brown's was 4:1.

Can't really think of a Port comparison for him. The best comparison I've heard is Lachie Neale.

Gray is doing my head in as a potential selection.

He scored well to finish the year off last season but you can't exactly expect him to average 35 touches a game either! Done well in the pre season although you kind of have to ignore the first two scores a bit given Port would have been missing some of their best midfielders meaning he was more of a chance to get good midfield minutes (like he did last year when when Wines was missing).

In the final game he got plenty of time in the middle, as did Ah Chee but I find it hard to believe both will be full time midfielders with everyone else fit and firing. Would Port really push other players out of the midfield to let these guys in? Could see them joining the rotation, but I think for the Gray pick to work (as a top 10 or so premium in the forward line) he'd need to basically be a full time midfielder rather then one that rotates through the midfield when others need a rest - just don't know whether that happens or not.
