Your DGR strategy, looks good in theory, but I'm sure many of us have loaded up like that in the past, and been outscored by teams with half as many DGR players! As already mentioned, there are only so many points to go around in a game, and the more scored by one player, the less there are available for the next.

Personally, I will generally be playing a maximum of 4 or 5 DGR players from any one team in a round, and I want the best players possible, for example, the 2 best batters from the top 3 in the batting order, and the 2 best bowlers, and then maybe a w/keeper or extra batter/bowler, if they're worth picking. All-rounders are preferable, and batters who bat at 5-6, and don't bowl, have the least scoring potential.

I think 3 changes, would make your team look a lot better. Swap Yasir Shah, who won't be playing until later in the season, with Shadab Kahn, and then swap Ferguson and Rohrer, for Maddinson and Carey. Maddinson has burned us in the past, but he's so cheap, he's at least good for bench cover. Then put Cutting and Pierson, if he opens, on the field, and Maddinson and Carey on the bench.

I think your team would then look pretty good, and you would have some extra cash to upgrade someone else, or save it to bring in the big guns for round 2. Good luck.

Neither. Pollard won't be playing until the second half of the tournament and O'Connor is pretty shite and will be lucky to get a game in my opinion. Better options around that sort of price are Jofra Archer, Tymal Mills, Michael Beer or even Cameron Boyce.

Thread has really exploded this week after a very slow start. I'd given up on it almost. Still looking for people keen for a $50 cash group.

My team is currently looking like this:

Watto, McCullum, Head, Nabi, Maddinson (Klinger, Cartwright)

Buttler (Carey)

Bravo, Cutting, S Khan, Mclenaghan, McKay (Willey, Bird).

Been busy the last couple of weeks so will do a fair bit of homework over the weekend.

I really like it but you may be able to squeeze another Thunder player in? Bravo and Nabi are good picks but given they don't have a double game round till round 10 it may be beneficial to get rid of 1 of them for someone that plays for a team with a double game earlier on in the season.

Cheers. I can't bring myself to squeeze in any more Thunder players, I feel like they'll battle this season. Just hoping they go alright rd 1 and then move them on asap. I had Henriques instead of Nabi but injury news and potential POD made me change. Feels like that's kind of the last slot in my team and at the price there isn't anyone I like better. Will keep tinkering.

I like nabi but batting 5 or 6 worries me.

Other thing I've noticed is "bowlers" are not getting their 4 overs.

Mite need to look into this a bit more me thinks
