I stopped watching it about 10 years before that, there wasn't much choice back then with only a few channels and no streaming.
God knows why anyone would watch it these days.

It's part of the reason I can't get into BBL. I watch it from time to time because I have nothing better to do, but I honestly don't know who half the players are. That’s the problem with the one day series being played behind a pay wall not everybody gets to see it.
I’ve got Foxtel so never miss a game but I really hate where Australia’s going with sport and tv rights.
Can’t even imagine the AFL season for people without kayo/fox and not being able to watch a game on a Saturday.
Hasnain is the one who broke Connolly's thumb from memory.
And he has played in the BBL before.
My main memory of him was Moises calling him a chucker

This probably ends any chances the Thunder had. Ferguson is a white-ball specialist, and Garton was complete pants for the Strikers a few years ago.

Who are crickets big name players right now, outside of India?
We dont live in the Gayle, Bravo, ABD era anymore. I can't think of many global cricketers that would be bum on seats kind of attractions. Maybe Harry Brook, but even then he played Big Bash a few years ago and averaged 6 with the bat.

When Sky got all English cricket rights in 2005 it killed the sport in the country. No coincidence people talk about "peak BBL" in the mid 2010's when all games were on Channel 10.

The Stars have dropped back to last tonight after the Strikers had a big win boosting there run rate.
A win tomorrow and the Stars jump from 8th to 4th.
The comp is well and truly alive.
The Scorchers are on a losing streak and sit 3 and 5 and yet if they make the 4 they would probably win the comp.
Enjoyable season.
