You realise this is a non issue? How many people in Australia are anticipating the announcement of new supplier for the AFC? Maybe 20 people, all of whom post here.

Number of people that may or may not care is not the issue.

If the rag puts a story out that our new apparel sponsor is ISC then this is a missed opportunity for both the club and ISC.

The opinion that it would be poorly done would then become fact. I'd rather the club be pro-active.

Since ISC entered the AFL market in 2008, there has been at least one ISC team in the Grand Final every year except one (2015, where an ISC team was a losing Preliminary Finalist).

History says ISC teams do well.

Calm down. The BLK leak wasn't great, but it was a reply to a comment on one of their facebook photos. The twitter thing took someone to google every ISC employee and find one who is following AFC on twitter.

Its hardly being screamed from the rooftops by other media outlets is it?

Once we announce the ISC deal, we won't be allowed to sell any of the BLK stock we still have. Given the situation we've found ourselves in, I'd rather the club try and recoup as many dollars as possible before moving forward. If the deal leaks, its really not the end of the world.

Umm, everyone knew the deal with BLK was terminated, not a secret at all. The only information being withheld is ongoing updates of who we're negotiating with and where we're at with a new supplier/sponsor. Nothing to do with discounting stock from the old supplier.
