Surely saints deserve to start faves at Etihad against pies?

You would think so but Collingwood's injury list is now the shortest in the league and it's looking likely they'll bring in Wells and Jaime Ellioit for this game. They'll be near full strength where as the Saints won't have their arguably two most influential midfielders in Steven and Armitage. Combine that with Collingwood's impressive win last week and then they should rightly be favourites.

That's not taking anything away from the Saints. I really rate them. Should be a great game.

**** yeah i thought they must have stopped doing it, what banner is it under do you know mate? i thought it would be in player markets but it wasnt in there when i looked on the weekend.

It should have its own one just under Australian Rules, I'll post a link tomorrow or friday when its up if you can't find it :thumbsu:

0.1U Giles BOG @101 (crown)

$101 for a ruck seems a bit overs. Rucking against just Sinclair now with Naismith out. Having a very small bet on the huge odds for a bit of fun.

double that with WC H2H, and maybe Port +24.5

Interesting to see if the teams have a letdown or find some confidence with the win to kick on. I fancy GC to find some more form here. They actually have a decent squad with Swallow, Ablett and Hall when they are up and running. I'm on at -3.5.

GC have a lot of speed too.Your right GC do have a pretty good squad at the moment. Also liking that the game is at ES.

This line seems fishy. Carlton coming off a tough win in the wet. Gold c. leg speed too much for the old hawks. the line should be gold c. - 30

God no.

GC has one thrash game and suddenly we forget how trash they are.

Carlton at home should win. Don't fall for the punters trap of putting too much on a single outperformance by GC

Wouldn't be confident in backing Carlton. They've hardly impressed, GC haven't been good themselves but they had a good win against the hawks and I think they have a pretty good list that should get up at Etihad.

Carlton are rebuilding. They had huge clean out last year, there list is coming along nicely with some good kids. However they will finish a bottom 4 side this year. They upset essendon in terrible conditions and where beat by rich and melb by enough.Gold Coast have a very good list which thrashed hawthorn. Brisbane jumped them Round 1 with a blistering 7 goal first qtr and went down by 2 points.Admittedly GWS trounced them note after being embarrassed by Adelaide the week before.you've only got to be a bit off for a side of GWS calibre to hammer you.Gold Coast at the line is a "Gimmy"

I was pretty bullish on Carlton at 2.10 but I'm second guessing myself after the last few posts. We'll see.
Same here... Wasn't necessarily going to load up on it but don't see where this bullishness on gold coast is coming from. Carlton were pretty competitive against Melbourne weren't they (In dry weather) and Melbourne are a better side than gold coast. What's the justification for losing to Brisbane? I know they had alot more inside 50s but they must not have been very good entries as Brisbane have probably one of the worst defences in the league. Carlton have been good for 2/3 weeks whereas Gold Coast 1/3 weeks and I tend to rate consistency alot more. I'll probably lay off the side and just take the under

No stick to it boys.

I agree. I do think the game is a bit of a toss up but I favour Carlton over GC. I can't see the reason for bullishness on GC and at the odds I would take Carlton.

It'll be an interesting game!
