Obviously a Richmond premiership was going to upset a lot of people, so I've decided to create a thread where we can dump any salty comments from fans who are still experiencing bottom pains from our ascent to greatness last weekend. Whether they're crying tears over their finals humiliation, tears over Dusty rejecting them, tears over Dusty being better than their poster boy, sulking because they didn't get a home final, or just have general feelings of inferiority to the biggest and now best club in the land, we can all enjoy their feeble attempts to cope with the nightmare that they are now living: a Richmond premiership.

When is channel 7's contract up?

They're ******* terrible. They barrack so hard and their reactionary hypewagon is not just cringeworthy, it is making the game and all coverage related to it unwatchable. Their unquenchable thurst for "emotion " and "stories " claimed another victim today: the Norm Smith, you can now throw that in the pile with the Brownlow of things totally screwed by their constant bandwagonning. They won Dusty both of them, and their Tigerlove this September has made me sick to the stomach. I barely wanted to tune-in today thanks to them.

spent a third of the season playing lame with injury, missed a game from a dodgy suspension, was robbed in the last round of brownlow votes despite being clear best on ground so martin would win because of that suspension and still only fell 3 votes short. its safe to say danger is still the better player.

I don't mind when its a quality team ala hawthorn sydney but when it's a team of really average scrubbers like this it's a very frustrating missed opportunity by Geelong.

If Richmond played 07 Geelong it would be 119 all over again

This Tiger team would never beat any of the great Premiership sides of the last 20 years IMO

Just went to main board. There is a lot of Tugs fans on ignore now.

I'm actually starting to calm down from Saturdays loss and I'm becoming more pissed off with the system than the AFC players. How the hell can Richmond play all of their finals games at home. Imagine if Collingwood and Carlton finished 1st and 2nd and us 3rd, yet we played all of our finals, including the GF, at the Adelaide oval. Imagine the outrage, Eddies head would explode. That's insane.

We looked feeble on Saturday when we played Richmond on their home deck just as they looked feeble when they played us on ours earlier in the year.

The vics must love the petty Port V Crows and WC v Freo hatreds. Help keep us pre-occupied. "Look over there".

The system is broken

So Richmond played 14 games at the G this year. Yeah it's a fair competition.

This should have been Richmonds path to the GF:

Week 1 Geelong at the cattery. No one wins down there so LOSS.
Week 2 Sydney at the MCG. WIN
Week 3 Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval

A much harder draw then the one they were gifted.

All said and done, Crows now know how '98 feels. Best team did not win the flag. Lets see if they can climb the mountain again.
And if they do l bet they wont be playing Richmond

High levels of salt came from their supporters after Dusty snubbed them and re-signed with us for significant unders. They took another blow when son of ex-Kangaroo Josh Kelly rejected them to stay at a soulless franchise club with less fans than Balwyn.

Things went from bad to worse when we dismantled every team in the finals after they were desperate for us to go out in straight sets. They then had a period of optimism where they thought they could win the flag next season until some level-headed posters brought their dumb fantasies back to earth.

Their board now is such a lonely depressing place full of jealousy and salt. They didn’t sign Dusty. They didn’t sign Kelly. They managed to f*** up finishing last on the ladder. They re-signed Scott. They barracked for every team Richmond were playing and even the teams they supported in finals got belted. They have to deal with a Richmond premiership. Their “aggressive reset” is failing. They’re linked with no good players. Their list is an absolute rabble. Their club is an absolute rabble. Their whole off-season is going to be one big pile of salt.

The luckiest sporting team in history.
If that thug Cotchin hadn't whacked Shiel his team would've lost.
Essendons 2000 or Brisbane 2001-3 would beat them by twenty goals.
Rance would poo himself playing on a decent player and Martin wouldn't be able to "don't argue" his opposition.

Weak season
Good draw
41 fit players available in late September.
The umpires took a shine to their new playing style.
Martin had the season of his career
Swans & GWS were hampered by injury.

A perfect storm occurred. It happens.

I assume that good draw is not just 3 bottom 5 teams twice but also the fact their home, away and neutral finals were all played at home.

It seems in this thread unless you suck tiger **** you get abused and reminded of a premiership that was manufactured.

Norf fans hands down.

They spend the last two years mocking and laughing at us... now we win flag, they finish bottom four.. Yet they think they can win next years flag because they refuse to believe we aren’t a bottom four team. our success has broken these poor norfies

Did my votes based on real life interactions I've had since the start of finals.

Geelong: Majority of my girlfriends family goes for them, her brother is still crying about having to play at the G.

Melbourne: 2 supporters in particular that are regulars at my work, ones just a pest who posted a status on Facebook before every game tipping the Tiges to lose by massive margins, he got all his tips wrong. But the other one for some reason hates Rioli and was claiming we are the worst premiership team ever, didn't like it when I let him know that Rioli has attended more ruck contests in finals than Max Gawn ever will and the whole Nathan Jones has never played in more than 3 wins in a row but Jack Graham has played 5 games for 5 wins and a flag.

Dogs: Another bloke who is a regular at my work, came in the day after Dusty signed and was laughing at me telling me we are stuffed, why would you ever pay a player that much, reminded him Tom Boyd exists and he said it doesn't matter because they'd won a flag. Proceeded to tell me we'd never win a flag and go out in straight sets. Haven't heard from him for a while...

If it was going of what I've seen online it's definitely #lolnorf, funnily enough all the #lolnorf supporters I know (3) were all going for the Tiges.
