I just don't like Nanks age. Only 22 and a half.
Rucks aren't really 'mature' so to speak until 25 plus, only a young pup and might conk out, but maybe a upgrade option....

Max Gawn had is breakout year in 2015 at 23 years of age. Averaged just over 100pts. The year before he only averaged 62pts.

Sauce Jacobs, and Shane Mumford had their breakouts at about 24.

I don't see why Toby can't do it this year, especially if he is rucking solo with Griffiths giving him a small chop out

Well.

That shut me up!

:D

I'm considering changes to R1. No longer a lock.
Based on last night I would say Spencer is now a lock for round 1 for the dees. On that basis Gawn is now out of my team. $645k too much for a shared role. Working out the ruck conundrum is not easy, but at the moment I have Nank and Sandi. Absolutely essential to have coverage though. Whether that's Witts at R3 or Boyd at F5 or F6 is what I need to work out.

What about that Jewish ruckman,
Sandankericawitz.

I'm going to see how Goldstein, Grundy, Nankervis and Sandilands go. Agree that $645k is too much for shared ruck duties.

Remember when Gawn had 49 and 56 two weeks in a row last year?

Bookended by 174 and 167.

I hope people jump off. He's erratic early. Once I to the groove it's smooth sailing.

You're missing the point, if he's sharing ruck duties then his price doesn't warrant the output since he won't be solo rucking

Needs to be 115+ to justify that outlay at the start of the season. 100 won't cut it.
I'm willing to take 100 for the first few rounds and then watch him explode

Will sweat on Goldstein now .....Goldstein v Gawn, one of the tougher decisions this year
Think Gawn has Goldy covered just from the HTA alone. As good a tap ruckman as Goldy is he has no one to hit it too.

Nailing rookies is the one thing that will make and break you Ruck structure is only 2 blokes and can be fixed with a couple of trades.

Or I watch him fall to 550 while having a real premo elsewhere and upgrade either Witts/Nank to Gawn when Spencer gets dropped.
Good luck with that one.

Were the rotations capped[/B]? Playing two big rucks might not work with less players on the interchange and less rotations.

Gawns tap work is sublime. Can't see them wanting spencer doing much ruck work
Yes they were. But 6 bench players allowed.
