LMAO they sent me the wrong membership card

I just checked, my dad also received a random card, and my sister got my dad's card. Everyone should probably check that their membership has the right name/seat on it.

Hey mate, awesome news!

I can explain that for you. It's only valid if you sign up someone who wasn't previously a member in 2016. So if you signed up your girlfriend and she wasn't a member this year, then that counts. You either just have to let her know to quote your membership ID when she signs up, or you need to let the customer service rep know if you sign her up yourself. If you click on the hyperlink in the original post it'll redirect you to the page that has all the info about it - the more you sign up the better the prizes get too.

Noo haha, I meant if anyone on Bigfooty wanted they could "refer" me and hopefully my girlfriend.

I'm going to sign up anyways and if someone on here can get some additional benefit with that then even better I'd think.

needa go back to a player on it for a certain year of consecutive e.g.

1 years - gresh
2 years - newnes
...
..
.
10 years - McCartin
25 years - Roo
50+ - pick a historic saints player

Hopefully this year we can breakaway from being last on the membership ladder among Victorian clubs. Doubt we'll catch the Dogs now after their premiership now

But we were only 1.5k members behind the Dreamons last year, so it is conceivable that we can overtake them with a good year. The Kangaroos also had a very disappointing year (as usual) plus their fans are unhappy with the way they treated Boomer (not sure why they like him though, comes across as an incredibly selfish individual. Have you guys seen the latest thing with his kids switching teams?), Petrie, Burrito (Choomah ) and also Nicky Dal.

Our aim as a club should be to try and beat both of them in terms of memberships because I think it's a fairly realistic goal.

can MCC members nominate the dees somehow because if their not recognised then theirs atleast a bunch of them are dees fans

Im not sure how the MCC thing works with the Demons. I have a friend who's a Demons fan and a MCC member. He said there's something like a 30 year waitlist now so its in demand but whether they all count as Dees members I don't know.

would be interesting to find out because we need to someone figure out a clear plan to have continued growth for the next 10+ years.

They have to pay $50 extra or maybe more to be a demons member as well. That gets you nothing but a members card

I couldn't care less what's printed on my card, so long as it works.
The club has to tighten their purse strings somewhere.

The front of the card has your name ( he has blocked it out) and on the back it mentions ( very small) the years of membership.

Agreed. I liked those, but being full colour are probably more expensive to print. These are pretty boring though.

Yeah I like that idea too. Hey if it's saving the club money making a simpler card then I'm all for it - as long as I can get into the ground I don't mind.

Going back to the interstate memberships
We have two ultimates
Before that was avl I had to get two 11 game melb memberships plus social tag on to get that GF ticket
So making that now possible for interstates was a good idea and the club listened
However
This one game into your home states game is a tad rich
Most people would trade in a couple of the 5 vic games to get into 2 games in their home state
Last year I didn't go to any games in sa, yet did travel to the blues game at the dome later in the year, got great tickets on level one under cover and it cost nothing.
When there's two games in sa I have a feeling that they don't let you in to both because of some reason that's out of their control.

Before footy was at adel oval I would get into the crowsgame for free with the membership and then pay the 30 bucks to get into the port game
As soon as it went from footy park to adel oval that second ticket doubled in price
Yup, was going to cost over 100 coins for the mrs and i to get into the second game...when we are already paying 500 bucks for memberships.

I was that pissed off when I found that out I didn't go to either game I sa and watched on fox

Also, they have taken up/tweaked the suggestion to offer something else for the 2017 scarf/beanie - ie donate it. I'll be donating mine coz have enuf of scarves

Yeah we have a heap of scarves and we chuck a heap out every year. We must miss some and they are all over the place.
