With Deng/Ansell, Brox, Hope and King Kenny on the bench, which is probably the best depth we've had in a few seasons... and we've still got 2 visa spots left to fill. (I'd love to think we can upgrade on Valeri, but I don't think it'll be our top priority. Kev would happily go with Valeri, Antonis and Brox as cover.)

I really hope it's enough depth for us to take the ACL seriously. We've won as many league titles as anyone in Australian football, we've won the cup - the ACL is really the final frontier, and with us finally having not just an Asian player, but a really ******* serious Asian player up til at least the 2nd round, we're well placed to at least have a serious dip.

Make no mistake Di Pietro will not rest until will reach or win an ACL Final! (Remember how dirty he was when the Wanderers won it lol). It's always been his priority! still a massive hurdle for the club! Need to get the monkey of the back of not being able to win away from home first!

Casey have kicked in up to 18 mil for training facilities at Casey Fields with another 6 mil "of support". The aim is it would also host matches until the Dandenong stadium is built. No real word on the stadium that I have seen but it seems there is money there if the bid gets up.

I love hearing people speak english when its not their first language. Admire how they try. It's respectful and doesnt matter if pronunciation is not right, its their EFFORT that is great.

The whole Cambodia thing is weird. Also a little concerned that he was thinking he would retire, I hope that's maybe a breakdown in his communication. I would think he'd have had plenty of offers and potentially more money in Asia and middle east. Maybe he wasn't interested in anything like that which if is true makes the retirement talk make more sense.
