I genuinely think this has the hallmarks of being a great game. Both very good consistent teams who have both been the two form sides of the finals.
Expecting a cracker of a grand final.

West Coast players were just grateful to be in the GF in 2015, hence the dismal performance. We just pissed ourselves. This year, we deserve to be there. Finished 2nd, the best record against good sides in 2018 and we haven't lost in Victoria. We will be brimming with confidence. Of course Pies fans will absolutely disagree with me here (I would have in 2015 GF week), but I feel that Pies players may be a little surprised they are there and may get spooked.

It will either be close or pies will smash them . Eagles don’t have the midfield power to dominate the game, whereas the pies do. If west coast are not too badly beaten in the midfield and their big forwards are on song , they are a chance for a close win a la the qualifying final

As for cox , he was a non factor 2 weeks ago. And the eagles still only just scrambled over the line with a lot going their way on their home ground

Also felt there was a sense of inevitability about the game at 3qt time when we were down by 10. Said I felt weirdly confident we'd get it done.

Don't expect it to be easy, but we should at least have some confidence going in.

Haven’t looked spooked so far and no issue with playing in front of 90k crowds on Anzac/QB each year. Went close in the QF at Optus, so nerves won’t get the best of us. Doggies played in front of less at Etihad in 2016 and didn’t get overawed by the GF by any means.

If we lose it’s because WCE are a better team. Highly doubt the players will crap themselves on the big stage (4 premiership players and 4 others with finals experience before this year) - but will see how they cope on the day.

I don’t personally read into the commentary that Pies will win because it’s at the MCG - because that seems to be the only reason some ‘experts’ are tipping us.
