Well this is all going to be very interesting given that there are so many good options being floated here. Its all going to come down to prices which I don't have yet.

I didn't include Dahlhaus, but he started like a house on fire (no pun intended) and then faded out. I didn't follow him so I'm not sure.
I think there are a lot of good options that I would expect to increase in value and then pick up some of the others later.

1. Curnow - Clearly on the rise, and this guy is going to be on 100 average if his second half is anything to go by and given that he will keep on improving. If his lows improve then we could even be going 110.

2. Robbie Gray - Purely given that he will more than likely play a dual role in the team, hits the big scores, struggled in some games last year, but I will be expecting big things from Robbie this year. perhaps 115-120

After my two locks I'm unsure. Menogola (Spelling wrong on chart) could be disadvantaged by Ablett. I reckon I'd choose Dixon as a POD over Lobb, but given the number of Port players I'd look at Lobb. Wingard and Boak could also be two other options, but I'd be more inclined to go for Wingard.

Doggies board think that Wallis should have a big year. Some think he came back early and just run out of condition this year. Apparently very meticulous with his preparation, and will get heaps of time at the coal face. Since I didn't have him last year I'm not in the "Never again" camp.

With McLean coming on Dahlhaus may get less midfield time. Wallis/ McLean slightly ahead of Dahlhaus, although all will be handy as fwd/mids after their round 12 bye. Wallis in my team for this week as a POD. Would also allow an even distribution of my round 1 keepers over the byes 4 -5 -4 plus Barlowe whom I think I can cover. With only 4 keepers for Rd 14 I can bring in Danger if the price is right.

Like everyone else I will be scrabbling for players over the byes, but hopefully in a better position than some. Rd 12 could be my worst round if I haven't traded out Birchall and O'Meara.

Heeney Billings Petracca CCurnow plus rookies for me at this stage
Like this forward line except maybe Petracca. I've pretty much locked in Heeney Billings and Curnow. Hopefully Heeney gets up to speed during pre season

How does Billings get the ball so much when he gets no (very few) clearances?

How does Petracca get lots of clangers when he has good disposal?

Billings is like opposite land.

Because when he killed it he was moved back to half forward flank. He hardly played midfield bar the first few matches.

Search Heeneys 2017 stats and related scores, i was surprised by the back half of the year

I had him from round 4 onwards. Kid can play. Perfect game for SC.

Good price for output it's just the off season surgery that worries me.

Edit: just looked at his stats. Not ideal but would have helped his 2018 starting price

7 of last 9 a tad average

I'm uninspired

Agree. A few will be turned off due to being burnt last year. Will be worth the risk if he can pull his head in.
Will Greene stay predominantly a forward .....or play a bit more midfield ?

That would influence me greatly
