Looks like Webster out, had been the word anyway:
The Carnage of this round continues .....Gray playing gives me loophole options

But Sicily has F.....d my backline completely

One arm is enough for that...
Nah you can drop the ball with your free arm and as long as it makes contact with your boot its a kick.

Its pretty hard almost impossible for umps these days to see what goes on in a pack of players which is why so many incorrect disposals are let go

Loved Watching Woosha and Pickett. And Beau Waters and even Campbell Brown

Bygone era now though
Everyone loved how Woosha played ..... I loved Rucciuoto ..... Byron Pickett :hearts:

Ummm the poor campaigner at the other end didn't like how Woosha played :D
But no one can deny, we paid $$$ to see it ..... the high marks .... the big bumps

I don’t particularly like rugby .... AFL has been resembling Rugby more & more

I know .....early on there was hope for JPK ......and that hope, seems to be disappearing

With all the carnage, i'm starting to feel that, with only losing Sicily ...i'm getting off lightly compared to others

I have cover, I just wish that cover was better than Boak.

Forward Josh Battle suffered a fractured eye socket against Melbourne two weeks ago but is back healthy and hoping to be recalled immediately.

Promising young gun Blake Acres has recovered from groin soreness, amassing 55 disposals in two weeks in the VFL and is likely to return.
Ben Paton, Nathan Freeman and Brandon White are also in the mix.

For all those melting down over a couple of injuries this week, there are still 6 more rounds to play and quiet little tip, things aren't going to get any better from here on in for you

One of the toughest parts of playing this game is that the less trades you have the more injuries start to bite as the season gets toward the business end.

I know people say that's why you need to conserve trades for later in the season but that's easier said than done if you have bad luck with injuries.

A couple of years ago around about this time I had 2 trades left from memory when I copped an LTI, wanting to conserve my final 2 trades for when I 'really" needed them, I parked said player at M11 and played on, then I copped another, then another etc, etc. By the time I ran out of rookies to field I had 5-6 ded premo's on my benches. Sideways traded 2 of them with my remaining trades, but suffice to say I ate multiple doughnuts over the final few rounds.

Sure is and there is an element of luck that comes with the game also.

I tried something different last season, played more conservatively with my trades which saw my worst finish in years but I had trades right up to the final round - means nothing really though as I play overall.

I've always been ruthless with trades, not as bad as Judd_Magic but who is and I digress, but have been pretty consistent with high ratings over the years. This year I went back to my JM ways and whilst I only have 2 trades left going into next week I am ranked back up within the top 250. So horses for courses I guess. People always say hold your trades, but if trading makes your team better earlier throw caution to the wind because 4 trades is useless come round 23. I think I still even had 1 trade left last year.

I'm down to just one trade left and that will probably be used to replace Sicily and then I'll just have to pray I get no more season ending injuries.

I'm usually better at conserving trades, I usually don't run out of them until finals but this year I've burnt through them at a faster rate for various reasons.

Campaigners can do this already if tackle is weak or they are strong through the hips... This rule change would encourage more people to have the instinct to actually kick the thing, good side effect imo.
