If we can avoid breaking too many more players we should have most back after the bye.

Would like to see a date for Tabs, not ideal is it

And no date for Brad, one week they said!

Tabs has a broken bone in his foot. Very difficult to manage .

Brad Hill has bone bruising.

I would rather they left it open if they are not sure when they will be back.

They initially said 1 week for Hill, yet it’s stretched out and out and is still TBA. I recall they said at the time he was lucky he didn’t do an ACL in the incident - so what did happen exactly? Because it ain’t good at all.

Bone bruising, can very be very different from case to case but Lee Spurr is our most similar injury and he has been out for ages sadly.

What can be done for hard turf? Will it settle with time or are we looking at a potential Etihad scenario here?

Apparently it is because the rye grass although seeded has not come through yet which will soften it. They are banning the clubs training there so the grow lamps can go at it etc. Should be better in about a month apparently and after that should basically stay that way. Just because it is a new surface.

Weber said they were keen to get him up for match committee.
If 80% of the injured roll back in on prognosis, we could be the best team in the comp by finals.
Just won't be playing in them.

Going to be interesting to see how Bennells calves go after running around on Optus Stadium.

If he gets that far.

Webber said something about supported running on the treadmill atm so doesnt sound like he will be back this weekend thats for sure. Seems like its dragging on a bit maybe he's waiting for the grass to thicken up too and come in for the St Kilda game.? lol

From memory, in 2013 when we made the GF we had a lot of injuries to key players early in the season, but we remained in the mix. When these players returned we were able to hit the finals with momentum. Let WCE be the May premiers.

It happened right in front of me on the southern wing. Basically there was a pack, hill got tackled and fell awkwardly to the ground. The play moved on and he was lying on the ground. Everyone around me was saying he'd done his knee. It looked really bad, he didn't move for ages and when he finally got up a bit he was punching the ground etc like he had done his knee.

Was staggered he came back onto the ground.
