Haven't seen Freo play yet. Brayshaw got any potential, worth keeping?

Was better last night, found more of it, will only keep getting better.

Laid a few big tackles and caught players for holding the ball. I watched the game and I though he and Banfield deserved 70s tbh

Only a matter of time before he gets 20 touches and a goal for 80-100 points.

Rayner worst rookie selection ever....sigh.

Unless he is an absolute clear standout, ready to go AFL player (like LDU, Brayshaw, Cerra) and not a role player like Rayner or a KPP then steer clear.

Fairly happy with my rookie selections. Could argue I should have gone English ahead of Darcy Cameron in the rucks but not sure if he has that #1 ruck locked down at the Dogs.

Decent ones include LDU, Waterman, Murphy, Stephenson, ZGL, Fritsch, Venables, English, Banfield, Brayshaw, Cerra, Gowers, Barry, Fogarty.

You are making a trade to make 80k though. Is that worth it (assuming the rookie you are bringing in posts similar scores)? Unless you have missed Holman or Kelly?

No, i'm making a trade for the $80K PLUS the increase in value of the incoming Rookie......that Brayshaw wont increase in value

I'd quantify that more, but i haven't identified that rookie yet ? ......hoping GEEL's Fogarty after today ?

No it isn't. You don't make the gap between say Brayshaw and Fogarty twice. All that matters once you have them is the price they get to, doesn't matter anymore what price they started at.

Personally I think Brayshaw>Fogarty or similar would be a borderline wasted trade. Yes you pocket 80K, but its only worth it if the rookie you bring in makes it to a cash out price around 100K better than whatever Brayshaw gets to, which I think is unlikely to happen for most rookies (maybe Holman or Kelly, but still doubt it).

You then trade for another 100k rookie.

Scenario 1. You kept Brayshaw, Net result is 200k cash in bank for the single trade down to 100k rookie when Brayshaw maxes at 300k.

Scenario 2. Trade Brayshaw and then trade the replacement rookie (when he maxes at 300k) for another 100k rookie, it’s a 280k profit, but used 2 trades

So still only 80k extra in the bank

Averaged 77 from that point, inc an avg of 91.4 over the next five weeks in rounds 3-7

So I didn't get Holman but have all the other 'must haves' (except Ryan), are you saying its worth it or not worth it downgrading Brayshaw to Holman?
