What I should say is he only wants to play mid. Not forward or back. And his outside game isn't good enough and he is to slow to play outside

It's not so much looking to play Brodie forward. Bring him into the mids, move young out, swing someone else forward. Be flexible. Try something, because our structure sucks right now.

Young didn't play hardly any mid time tonight. Weller needs to be in there more cause he is a lot better kick then anyone else in the midfield

You don't put people in the highest level of competition to learn. that's for training and the twos.

He's not in the best three in (the only) position he plays, why on earth would you move someone who is better than him to a position they are weaker at (Davey Swallow tried hard but he's a sucky forward, same as most other inside mids)

That's not exactly what I'm saying. What is apparent is that our midfield sucks. It's hardly going to disrupt much trying to get a kid with potential playing regularly over a spud like Young. If that means shuffling the deck, so be it.

Yes Hayward and Florent play mainly HF when Sydney got all the injuries they had last year and this year they play more minute in midfield , Brayshaw and Cerra been draft as mid but because of their size and Fyfe and co are they both play more HF and HB and slowly increase their minute in midfield . Use common sense where got first year or second year demand only playing inside mid , all will just take it whatever position the coach give them .

I understand where you are coming from but team balance is very important, if we 4 slow inside midfielders when we win the ball inside we have no outside midfielders to move the ball forward. Young needs to replaced buy a medium forward. Which we don't really have
