CEY averaged 19 touches, 5 tackles and 5 clearances after 40 games.

IMO there's no point trading for a player like Graham, you're better off just taking the pick to the draft
Depends on what the pick you give up is. I think we're gonna hit the draft hard over the next couple of years, but if you've got the choice now of taking Graham or an unknown 3rd round pick in the draft, you'd probably find more value in Graham.

Take 4 best available picks in the top 25 and then use the later selections to trade and fill some gaps in the list.

Its a bit like Stengle: a pick in the 60s/70s and dont break the bank paying for them

Was it really the right call picking up two KPP with two of your first three picks last year?

Looks like you need midfielders badly.
I would think the mindset was that we are drafting for a good team in 5 years, not a good team this year.

So pick the ones who will take longer to develop first

Talls and big midfielders (and Schoenberg)

If we were to replace the Crouch brothers with 2 of Luke Dunstan, Jack Graham or Jackson Hately how do you think we would fair? Draft some mids in the top ten over the next two or three drafts to class it up.

Probably better, as the Crouches are a real negative at the moment.

Was talking to the old man last night. He thinks we should pick the best S.A. kid with pick one. He thinks the others will go home after 2 years. Couldn’t believe it.

Conveniently the best SA kid is odds on to be pick 2 regardless (noting: Pick 1 is likely used to bid for JUH)

I do wonder that if the club thought they'd match, whether we wouldn't just so we can show off our #1 pick. In a way, you'd think #2 would be better as there's less outside attention in a way.

I can't see Hamish resisting the chance to match tbh.

I hope he can have a few big games over the remainder of the season. Nothing better than to see a local lad go pick 1. Shouldn’t be scoffed at that he’s playing against men compared to the other draftees playing against 17 and 18 year olds
