I don't mind pick 30.

30 for 41 & 56 is about right.

Slight difference in points but you lose 30 if you have to match so in the scheme of things its still a clear win for the Hawks to do the trade.

RFC definitely need to trade up in the draft I think.

41 and 56 for 30.

Than I would get pick 22 from Freo for picks 38 and 39.

That was what i posted 3 weeks ago

go into the draft with 3 picks #19,#22,#30 +2 rookies

Well whats interesting is some have Hawks picking Henry at 11 forcing Fremantles hand with pick 22.

Some have us at 19 forcing Hawks hand with Macginess. This is on Knightmares mock draft treat it with grain of salt but even so food for thought

If we could trade to get 22, Fremantle would not have to worry about it a match at 11 or after to match with Henry, they get bonus points from a trade with us somehow.

I think Port could get Kemp given they now have 3 picks but who knows who they are chasing some probably SA connected. Are they looking to trade up again like Geelong??

At 11 and if Kemp still there we could trade for it offering 19 and extras to Hawks. the thing is they will not want to use 19 on Macginess. We could use 2021 picks and trade Hawks pick 19 once its safe from McGuniess at the pick point. Hawks then could use it on Cooper s or whoever they want.

If we get 22 in a trade can we trade it to another club later for another pick trade??

So we could end up with Kemp and pick 22 or Cooper S or whoever at 19 and someone at 22 if Kemp goes before hand or we could trade 22 to say North for their two second round picks and give the something else

The thing is now there is a lot of clubs with multiple picks before 30. Port, Geelong, Suns, Freo and others and they will be looking for options to improve what they want. Clubs with multiple picks mean they will mix it up as they will not pick the same generally plus will not pick types that they already have generally especially where existing guns so should be some slippage due to multiple pick bias as well as timing

Probably not a need for us but that small forward Liam Henry would look great in our forward line

looks like he loves to hurt blokes like stack and keep opp players on their toes

although I think he’s a freo accadamy kid so they will probably match any bids

i like the sound of Pickett but it sounds as if his stock is rising past our bevy of third rounders

I think

The Afl stuffed us with the Ellis compo as that would have given us so much more flexibility and appeal holding #19+#20

I dont think anybody will be looking to trade with Richmond with the picks we hold until draft night and dependant on where the bids come
If a bid for Henry comes before #10 that rules us out of trading with Fremantle and same with the Hawks / mcginness (unlikely)

Another trade i would consider is Richmond 2020 1st rounder + #56 for North's #26+#27

if Richmond include future first round picks many clubs will listen to what we gotta say. #19, future first and third rounders is a strong hand

It might be a good idea too, given the premiership window and number of talented kids already at the club

Another trade i would consider is Richmond 2020 1st rounder + #56 for North's #26+#27

19 / 26 / 27 or some combination could be further trade too up the draft order ?

interesting debate spread the love or target a kemp or mcansey

I don't mind that North trade but it means North do not have many 2019 picks. Still they could have a big win if RFC do not go well in 2020 touch wood.

Even if we started 19, 22, 26,27, 30 and so forth thats not a bad position in this years draft I think

With all these clubs having multiple first round picks ,you'd think we will get players slipping to us that we didn't expect .
Clubs will pick for needs not just best available if they only have one pick .

On SM-A520F using BigFooty.com mobile app
Personally i think it pretty much means that no KPP will slide
McAsey,Worrell,Jackson,De Koning will all be taken in the 1st round

How's it a win for the Hawks when we lose points?

Also wouldn't trade for picks considerably after pick 42 as points will be taken out of 42 meaning we'll end up with a stack of 50s picks.

I'd rather keep 30 then trade it for even 38 & 56 which is a slight points advantage.

I can understand not liking 30 & 54 for 39, 41 & 56 but there's no reason we'd do a deal for 56 that I can see.

I guess a trade with Adelaide would work better with them having 37 & 45/49.

Anyway. Cheers for the answers. Probably fair that you wouldn't be interested.

Good luck with trying to get 37 , 45/49 from Adelaide.

It is just a way of avoiding losing 30 value for Macguiness when you can get Macguiness for less via a trade for picks like with RFC
