Four day break for Anzac Day eve. You’d think they’d be able to work that fixture out by now
I can understand a bit due to Easter Friday falling where it is, but I can't see why they couldn't at least schedule us for a day game rather than a night game on the Saturday. It may only be a about 6 hours, but even those few hours could help to recover.

Best Attendances Pos

Attendence:

Home: 738,000 Ave: 67,090 (AFL, Richmond Record)
Away: 552,000 Ave: 50,181 (Richmond Record)
Total: 1,290,000 Ave: 58,636 (Richmond Record, 2nd Highest for AFL)

Attendence: Accounting for Weather and other Factors:

Home: 698,000 (-40K) Ave: 63,455 (AFL, Richmond Record)
Away: 532,000 (-20K) Ave: 48,636
Total: 1,230,000 Ave: 55,909 (Richmond Record)

Collingwood’s perfect Attendance (Not accounting for Weather and other factors) is
Home: 707,000: Ave: 64,272 (Less than ours)
Total: 1,354,000: Ave: 61,545 (More than ours)

I have Richmond at aound 1,210,000 and pies around 1,260,000 And that’s with the pies having a much more favourable attendance type fixture!
Only reason I have them more is they play ess and eagles twice and we play them once, that there is the difference.

Their is no way pies will get 1,354,000 (their overall record is 1.306 mill) with out gws or gc to bring down averages!

For us if we get 1.2 mill based on this lack lustre attendance fixture that would be enormous.
Here’s hoping that some of our opposition are pushing for the 8 to get higher than expected attendances against those teams...
And here’s hoping that the pies drop games early on so their attendances soften!

Having double ups against pies and dees is great but blues, port and gws ain’t going to be huge!
Of course if blues were pushing for the 8 it would be big But I’m guessing by the time we play them in round 21 the crowd will probably be between 50 to 60K

Pies have very favourable double ups against Tiges, bombers, dees, eagles and dogs to maximise their attendances!

pies season will be over by round 10 and their mcg games will be a ghostown so we’ll win the attendance again despite shit crowd pulling fixture

Based on this we much more often have a longer rest than our opponents, or at least break even?

So, for example, in round 7 we have 3 days longer rest than our opponent, round 9 we break even, and round 10 we have 1 less day of rest?

AFL and C7 will be shitting bricks when lolpies start 0-3 and then fall to the dogs who have hit the ground running and are 0-4.

AFL going to be gutted when Richmond get off to a 6-0 flyer because the new rules enhanced our game rather than hindered it like the AFL hope.
All I can say is suck shit pies

QLD Tiger fans ****** over again.

With 2 teams in QLD, it would be nice if they at least give the QLD fans a chance to get 1 game up here. Not ******* hard.

Edit - Apologies, just saw Round 16 is on the Gold Coast. (2nd post in this thread isn't the fixture LOL)
the fact we have to come up there to prop up those clubs and expats is a disgrace.

if you want to follow the tigers, dont expect them to follow your life choices. we are a big ****ing Melbourne club. the biggest in the afl.

What do you expect.
