I don't know how legit this is because it was reported in the Adelaide Advertiser from what I read that Adelaide is scheduled to play Melbourne at the MCG in Round 2.

Not overly happy that we play Collingwood round 2 ... not because I think they might beat us, hell no I am more confident that we will kick their arse but the AFL should have made them fly to Perth to play West Coast to watch them unfurl their flag.

Melbourne, Hawthorn, Carlton and potentially Collingwood to start the season off. Not many relaxing games in that and that includes Carlton because they play one of their annual stunner games against us in Round 1.

Our last 5 games against WC have alternated between home and away. We just only ever play them once, and the last time we played them at the G was way back in R3, 2017, so it seems like we only ever seem to go over there. Plus we had a strange run from 2007 to 2014 in which we played them 10 times, but just twice at the G.
Similar thing with Freo, our last 6 against them have alternated between home and away.

Can't remember the last time we played West Coast twice, but we seem to play Fremantle twice most years.

Port have been in the league 22 seasons and we've had to to travel to Adelaide to play them in all but 2 seasons. Do they request a home game against us every year or something?
