So Essendon and Collingwood get a 6 & 7 day break leading into ANZAC day while Richmond and Melbourne get a maximum 4 day break heading into ANZAC Eve. Seems fair.

I actually think it makes sense. The difference between Collingwood and Essendon's break is less significant as there's more time before their game.

If we played good Friday, Dees would probably have to play Saturday. We'd get four full days off before the Wednesday game, Dees would get three. That one day difference is a lot more pronounced.

Given we'll end up with the same break as them, we're actually not disadvantaged at all. We then get to play an opponent the following week when we've had more rest than them, giving us an advantage in that game.

Playing ess once, thats a potential 75-80K corwad
is it possible to get coll ess and carl twice each ? if so we could break the crowd record

Agree 100% to be able to break the 1.3 million mark set by the pies we need what they had a very favourable draw to maximize crowds but even more so the majority of vic teams to be in the 8. Pies had top 4 being all vic teams extracting larger crowds and didnt need to play gws nor gc who weren't in the afl to bring down their overall average. We played gws and gc both away this year and swans at etihad on a Thursday night plus north on mothers day etc but the pies nuffies cant get it that brings down averages. Tried in vain explaining what is needed to break the record they arent sharp enough to comprehend cold facts.

We finished just under 1.2 mil (6th highest ever) and i honestly believe if we get more vic teams in the 8 and play higher drawing teams twice we can definitely challenge that record.

Funny thing is they finished 3rd and we outdrew them as both being top 4. Tiges have topped the home and away attendances 3 out of the last 4 years.

We play Ess once in 2019 (our home game dreamtime) not playing them a second time we lose a potential 75-80K attendance, pies play them twice

The AFL will probably give our double ups as Carlton, Collingwood, West Coast, Sydney, Adelaide.

colonwood got us, carlspoon and the druggies twice this year and still couldnt outdraw us while both top 4

Having to travel from interstate to attend Thursday night games is nigh on impossible. Is the club pushing for Thursday nights or is it being pushed on them by the AFL to showcase big clubs in standalone games

from the bottom 6 on the 2017 ladder we only got 13th (pies) twice and did not get anyone lower than 13th twice

i bet the afl magically find a way to make them play carlspoon twice next year even though they made the granny

Two RAD trips planned. Skanky Free Hoes ave maria. Lilliput visit and white shoes on for Sanctuary Cove.

Haere Ra
I hate going to giants away games. We always get screwed over

We never play port at the G and when we do play them twice in a season we play them at etihad

when was the last time we played port at the G without also going to adelaide
