If I was GWS I'd definitely be sending De Boer to Prestia, but don't tell them that.

Honestly have nfi what Damian Barrett is getting at here. So the club that won a grand final 2 years ago and is lining up to do it again has everything to lose while the one that the AFL manufactured and compromised the entire league for years in order to establish has nothing to lose?
It’s funny, I saw the headline and thought he meant the other way round. Tigers have 2017 in the bag already and we were written off mid this season, this would be a bonus premiership for us. On the other hand, Giants have continuously disappointed despite being gifted many talented players and need this premiership to be relevant in NSW, so more pressure on them. Different way of looking at things I guess!

The Giants are looking at playing a heap of injured/underdone guys. That will come back to bite when we just grind them down.
But in some ways this is good for me. I really do like the Giants. As a Canberran they genuinely have committed to Western Sydney and Canberra, and they have been working hard to create a footy culture. So although they are still plastic, they're working at becoming a genuine footy club.
Anyways, we'll hammed them from Giants and they'll be Gnomes by end game. Then it'll be a good time.

So if he did imply that its GWS then did he just randomly switched the order in the next sentence? I guess we'll never know but either way we can be safe in the knowledge that he is a hack "journalist"
