Interested to see how De Boer tagging Martin plays out. Could GWS throw a curve-ball and he goes to Prestia who has been super dominate this year. You feel given he has the runs on the board he'll start on Dusty. As mentioned in the preview, given the amazing form Houli has been in wouldn't surprise me if they send someone to him. I don't think it'll be De Boer, can't see them letting Dusty and Dion run free from the outset but they will surely pay some respect and give someone a defensive forward job on Houli. If that happens, we start looking for Short feed him the ball every chance and let him gain those meters.

Very much don't know what to expect from the Giants, obviously a super talented team in top form with a few players underdone who knows. They proved on Saturday they are very much down for the fight and don't mind a slog. My head and heart says we'll get it done but I think it'll be a 2-3 goal game heading into the 2nd half/deep into the third. We have all lived that things don't always go to script especially over the last few years we've been on both sides of it.

GWS have literally hit form at the start of finals .

Nerves have started already
They will push us I reckon
Hopefully continuity on our side, home ground and fresher legs will work in our favour
De Boer / Dusty matchup and whoever is on the little Greene prick will go a long way to determining outcome. If Phil Davis is below par on fitness level, then that will be huge

If Davis plays he's at 70% max. Was shifted forward in the Pies game as he wasn't able to go with his direct opponent.

Giants will have to win their third game on the road to beat us. Their last 2 games have been real grinds, particularly last week wet weather slog vs Pies. They will be feeling the effects. They will also potentially rush back players who have limited match fitness, and persevere with another who probably would get the week off in regular season. They are missing 2 bloody good players in Ward and Coniglio. They will have to play a very strong game to win! We have every reason to be cautiously confident. If they win given the above factors, then they would have truly deserved it.

"THE CLUB with everything to lose versus the one with nothing to lose."

Honestly have nfi what Damian Barrett is getting at here. So the club that won a grand final 2 years ago and is lining up to do it again has everything to lose while the one that the AFL manufactured and compromised the entire league for years in order to establish has nothing to lose?

Barrett's headline officially vetted and okayed by the powers that be...AFL House of Mirth!

Lol Barrett trying to get the # out and trying to get into Richmond’s heads .

the bears who are s**t imo should have beat them. they were robbed

they also completely stopped against pies

thats probably the most concerning part if i was a GWs supporter

slow starts arent great but are managable, but to completely turn off for a quarter is pretty bad in crunch games

we punish teams who cant play the full 120 minutes against us.
