Did u not see the way he was moving? Was clearly not himself in the middle of the year. Started the year on fire then what decided he couldnt be stuffed? Started to score well again in the last 5 or weeks so clearly his condition improved.
All I'm saying is, I didn't like his casual attitude last season .....and I'm not picking him, based on I don't know which Martin will turn up

Why do I get the feelings that Cripps is going to be 60% mid 40%fwd.
May end up scoring low 100s instead of 120+ being mainly mid

Can't see it happening .....they've got Curnow, McGovern & McKay up front .....so they may rest Cripps forward, but that would be better for scoring, than on the bench

Libba is so basic.
I know, he should get a grouse tatt like mine.

Across my forehead I have tattooed "I like Fish n Chips".

Only problem is when I go to Enzed no one understands it!

Numbers dont lie

My answer was not directed at you. Like I said when asked the question by someone else, I have both Dusty and MCrouch but if I had to choose only 1 this year I would choose MCrouch. I would choose him purely out of personal preference and feel for the game. It's not an exact science and previous data is not the be all as you seem to believe.

The use of stats gives us a rear view of historical performance & trends .....but they don't predict the future

There's still a feel for the player, his injuries, fitness, potential role changes, changes in structure, and importantly the likely success of their team ....that becomes a gut feel

The interesting Crows thought process is M.Crouch v a resurging Sloane ......but then also add back in a "star" player in B.Crouch ?

Being a Crow supporter, I have little idea myself .....it's almost finger in the air stuff

I have one version with both MCrouch and Sloane. Not sure I have big enough cajones to back my gut on that one though. FWIW I think they'll both have a 2017 level year and Crows to finish top4 but what do I know...

I feel exactly the same about the crows and sloane. But just cant shake the feeling that if they do well they will shut him down again. If he hadnt burmed me before I would prabably be all over that. Given his ownership im guessing im not alone.

Im currently stuck with deciding between bont and crouch. I have both in my team at the sacrifice of a fwd premo but its left me with 3 fwd rookies on field 6 in total on field. Which i dont really like... but in some ways thats not bad either because the fwd rookies seem to have the most depth of cheap options.

What am I missing with Shuey @ $490k? His GF is obviously fresh in my mind, but how is he so cheap? At this stage I’m happy to run with him at M5...

Scored 12 in a game last year due to injury. Did also score in the 50's and 60's a couple of times. Aside from that he went over 100 on 7 occasions during the regular season.

Edit: His scores from round 15 last year were 115, 105, 129, 97, 91, 95, 89, 111, 88, 91, 168. So had a great back end. Perhaps not those consistent 100's of other premiums, but if you got that output from the start at M5 for a bloke costing $490k you'd take it.

Why would u even consider Sloan. As soon as he plays some gun games he will BE shut down completely and his scoring will suffer. MCrouch is the one that will benefit from it. lock him in
