McKay going to get games with Tarrant out?

Moreso meant he was the last decentish starting rookie option we got from North

A few of us went Mountford and Hibberd two years ago after they were handed round 1 debuts, got badly burnt there after they were dropped straight away then didn't come back for 10-11 weeks

Feel he scores better in a 50/50 set up

Scored pretty solidly whenever Nicnat was fit

Don't think Ryder will be out for long though
Tarrant out, Thompson suspended and Daw won’t be back until the second half of the season at best. McKay will get a few games. His jlt form is not indicative of his talent.

Vandenberg 16 tackles is super impressive for a JLT game

Fair to say everyone will now have Bradshaw...preuss got injured in the vfl, so looks like the Grundy and Gawn combo might be back on.

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app
The thing is though, so many players have had big JLT so while I agree Brayshaw seems the popular "must get in", you could say the same about Conigs, Taranto, Crouch x2, Sloane. Then theres guys who only played 1 so far who another good one gets the same praise- Macrae, Cripps. Im sure theres more and you can't have them all

Grundy Gawn was never off....

Not Worpel too?
Nope

Needs to be a keeper at his price and not convinced he'll be one, feel Lynch and Greene are the go to options in that price range around 450-550k give or take in the forwardline

Cousins for example could average similarly to him yet is nearly 200k cheaper and probably has similar job security too, just their DT positions are different

Feel Worpel is better suited to AFL Fantasy really, get a few price rises then sideways to a fallen premo, just not sure we can do the same in this game

Scrimshaw locked haha

Cousins and Lewis doing enough too

Think your team is way better suited for Supercoach rather than DT

With your value picks down back in particular, Smith has to be in at 388k, he'll score similarly to both Mills and Williams and you'll save heaps of cash going there instead, just don't think Mills and Williams will average close to top 6 average, Roberton is probably the one who could go closest to that top 6 defender average if he's back in 2017 form. Mills might average close to 90 but I'm yet to see him win tons of footy to go with the tackle + mark boost needed for a high average compared to say what Heeney has shown the last two years, think he's a 20-25 possession mid at the moment. Defence is deep this season and Laird, Lloyd and Whitfield look to be top 6 defenders already with a number of others putting their hands up so I think making sure you're in position to get the best players in your team come your team is completed is the way to go

What I'd do

Mills and Williams to Smith and Sam Collins then use that spare cash to upgrade Scott in midfield to another premium as I feel Libba is better suited to M5 in SC where he's a chance of being a season long M8-9 as his contested style suits that game better rather than DT where he'll only be M9 at best in a completed side (he hasn't averaged 95ish since 2014 though 2 of those 4 years since he did his knee, but signs are he's only a 80-85av mid these days).

Burgess will get a run too and he's DPP which is handy, but I guess rookies will pick themselves when round 1 teams come out.
Thanks for the advice. I don't play DT really, only put a side together because a bunch of long time friends run a league. Have re-worked but my defence looks weak, although that's the lowest scoring line

Structurally change Neale and Goddard to Lloyd and a Constable/Hayes/Atkins etc type and defence will be fine then

No Neale anymore. Will play mid.
Durability is the main concern with him, but no issues with his scoring ability in the right role

He'll score well for 6-8 weeks, suck a few in then do a hammy or something early in a game and that injury score drops his average a bit, just seems to happen regularly with him.

You'd pick him in the middle of a draft for example

He's not a good midfielder. He has speed but gets outbodied all the time and spills marks and possessions he should really take. And fails to stick tackles. Maybe he'll have magically improved this off season

Shiels and Cousins only playing a half each?

Stats haven't changed this quarter

I guess if I jumped on Fanfooty I could check their TOG, but that website is horrendous for Adware on a phone browser like Chrome. Adsblocker or incognito only to stay safe.

Cousins 77% and Shiels 79%

Worpedo certainly hasn't

DTLive.com.au is the best site for scores.
