with a D like the pats have, they have extra gears to step up to as a game wears on, in critical situations, telling late 3rd and 4th qtrs. so the giants, and any team facing the pats this season, need to be able to step up extra gears on offense otherwise they have no chance.
as we've seen in other pats games, sometimes they keep up with them up to the half, but then fall in a ditch.
