The mod bashing has got to stop

One more mod bashing post and this thread gets closed permanently.

If you have an issue with a modding decision, where it be here or elsewhere, take it up with that mod or contact site admin.

Mods are unpaid volunteers volunteering their time to keep this place running smoothly. Try to respect that. Yeah, we dont always get things right, but most here are just trying to do whats best for everyone. Its impossible for mods to make everyone happy, and for every decision a mod makes, there is always going to be someone who disagrees.

Mod bashing never solves anything and it is simply disrespectful to those who take the time to volunteer for this place.

The 2nd whistle sound came through as Shai's foot hit the ball.
Then he's asking the umpire why it's 50m because he couldn't hear the whistle.
Then if you look at the top of the last bit of the GIF and see Zorko falling really easily to Pickett's bump. Soft. Make it HD/fullscreen and slow it down and you can see he's faking and then smiling about duping the umpire straight after.

I reckon Zorko sucked Pickett in. Fair play to him. Pickett needed to show more restraint.

Clear 50 against Pickett. I'd like to know what Zorko said, because it was effective. You can bet your life he'll let his teammates know. I seriously hate sledging (and Richmond do it just as much as any other side).

As for the first 50 against Bolton, they happen a couple of times a game. As long as the AFL have that utterly stupid advantage rule, they'll keep happening. We've had a few go our way this year - and a few against.

I agree the decision itself wasn't a bad one for Pickett, assuming it was actually a hard hit (which it wasn't). If you're an umpire and players all over the field are grabbing each other's jumpers and wrestling about remonstrating, but somebody puts themself in a non-balanced state and a bump comes from the side and they go down, is that a thing that says "oh, that must be a free kick on top of all of the other stuff going on". Personally, I think drawing the line there is ridiculous and soft.

With the Bolton one, this doesn't happen often. 99% of the time the ball will be recalled and the free taken from the original spot unless a player goes and plays on past the 2nd whistle. Neither Bolton or Dusty played on past the 2nd whistle knowingly.
