LAST WARNING

The mod bashing has got to stop

One more mod bashing post and this thread gets closed permanently.

If you have an issue with a modding decision, where it be here or elsewhere, take it up with that mod or contact site admin.

Mods are unpaid volunteers volunteering their time to keep this place running smoothly. Try to respect that. Yeah, we dont always get things right, but most here are just trying to do whats best for everyone. Its impossible for mods to make everyone happy, and for every decision a mod makes, there is always going to be someone who disagrees.

Mod bashing never solves anything and it is simply disrespectful to those who take the time to volunteer for this place.

What pissed me off were the commentars saying Tigga didn’t touch it because he didn’t make a big song and dance out of it.
He indicated immediately he thought he touched it
but because he didn’t jumpup and down about it that was reason enough for them to assume he didn’t touch it.

On top of that, I think he had more immediate concerns.

I mean, when the ball bounces back into play, it's not the time to be remonstrating with the umpire about touching the ball. You have to assume it's "play on" and your immediate concern has to be ensuring the oppo don't get the ball.

People are basically trying to make something of the fact that Vlaus's first concern was with a ball which he had to assume was still in play and that he waited until the first safe opportunity to say anything to the umpire.

They forget that whilst commentators have the luxury of dwelling on incidents whilst the play continues to develop, players don't.

If we're going off reactions are we going to take off the sealer last week when Vlastuin was certain he touched it?

Two massive melts in on one night for jai
Absolute morons
That’s the problem with slow mo replays and high quality still images it can make incidents look so much worse than what they are in reality, same as the Tom Lynch one

They write these articles and have these melts with a still image or super slowed down, but if you watch them in real time You get the same result as what the umpires did on the night

Lol these ****sticks wank about how great footy was back in the day gush over blokes like Carey and Dunstall and how soft the game has become

Tom Lynch players like key forwards did 20 years ago with genuine presence and a little bit of white line fever and they call for their heads
