Hes looking more lean through the core and twice as solid. A weapon to unleash through the midfield and half forward line. Imagine him one out with leaver at full forward hahaha strength for days.
Definately looks leaner...

Could be camera angle/body position though.. but i reacon the club wouldve been onto him about dropping the “puppy fat” over this off season..

AFL app pre season assessment of Adelaide is pretty spot on considering who they focused on. All looking on track

On [device_name] using BigFooty.com mobile app

Brad looking sharp. Tex looking slim, but not really moving that well in some of the vision. You are spot on where they focus on Eddie, Tex, Brad and Sauce. Need the first three to be back to their best if we want to talk about flags. Another good year from Sauce will be a bonus, but the big question will be if he isn’t up to it, will they give ROB his chance.

Tex not moving that well? It was just the type of running he was doing, looked fine.

I think I know why: he's reeled you in with the 70's pornstar moustache. ;) He needs to get rid of that.
It was all down hill when Tex lost the mullet. Maybe he should keep it.

Actually Tex went fine after the demulleting but I’m not going to ruin a good story with the facts.

If it's the bit around 23 sec, it's a technique drill. Short stepping, high knee with direction change. It's not an injury-types limping run.

Yeah that’s the bit. Good if that’s just a drill. It looked eerily familiar to how he looked in games at times with the foot injury. But he is looking really fit which is the big positive at this stage. Fingers crossed that he can go a full pre-season and footy season without any more injuries.

holy crap does Jen Phelan actually watch Crows games?

"Jake Kelly didn't look great when challenged with a new role on the wing late in the year so will be interesting to see if he can regain his spot in the backline"

Yeah, I was impressed when I heard that. No other media person in Melbourne would have had a clue what she was on about.

Looks like the talk about fog taking his preparation extra seriously is the real deal. Couldn't be in better shape at the start of his second year.
Was told that as soon as the season ended he was locked into the gym. Didn't leave Adelaide at all and just worked his butt off the entire time off.

2019 rising star is a serious possibility. Depends how we structure up and whether he can fit into the 22 alongside the other 3 talls up forward.

Wonder how much of the work he has been doing was aerobic and how much was muscle building. I actually wouldn’t like to see him bulk up too much.

And the answer to that is that no they will not.

I would have preferred to hear that he had hired a running coach. Weights don't seem to be his problem (ok, I'm assuming he wasn't focusing on cardio in the gym)
