The coaches look promising so far including Richo. In a article, he pretty admitted he stuffed up last season and he took responsibility of his actions, this season hes more reserve and allowing his assistants to actually give their input. Steele, Billings, Hunter, Gresham, Long, Bruce, Longer (fitness wise) all look ready to hit top form. We have a relatively healthy list but our backline is stuffed with Austin and Carlisle unsure and Brown suspended. Battle being trained as a key back, and Joyce looks promising as well. Max King and Bytel are coming along fine, still injured but recovering well. Rumours surrounding Hanners isnt helpful but hopefully none are true.First time in a very long time I'm out of the loop on all things saints. Can someone give me a brief summary of what we have been doing since xmas, who's looking good, who's looking poor, and how our recruits and young players are shaping up?
Are signs positives and are we optimistic for this year?
Thursday, 7 February 2019What's the issue with Austin ?
If all it takes to get a game as a defender is to be able to kick distance I think this guy might be a monty for the first round.
0.20 - laziest looking 55 metre kick I've ever seen.
I thought he was avg. Didnt get forward enough for my liking. With the cho destroying everyones confidence you wonder what impact it had on sav. Hes in a fierce battle for a spot either way.I thought Savage was very good last year, he's not really a one on one defender, he breaks lines and distributes outside the danger zone. He has elite traits and the way we have used him has been a waste under Richo. Hopefully Ratten makes the most of him.
Matt suckling clone without the spasmodic kicking style.

The good thing now is we have a lot of options and if he doesn't perform he will not be in the team - just having Roberton back in the team just makes it harder for him to keep his place in the backline , with having Webster , Carlisle , Geary , Brown being a certainty in our back 6 , leaving only one position for McKenzie , Wilkie , Savage , Coffield , Rice , White as well as having Austin , Battle , Joyce to fill in for any key defenders if required.I don't like how he gets as many contested possessions as Jack Lonie.
The medicos can't find a single thing wrong with him.. Its Hanners belief in his body. He feels its not right and won't stretch out at this point..Just heard that Hannebery isn’t injured at all & will continue to train on the modified (old man) program he has been on since arriving at the club.
This is great news

What's wrong with carlisle and what are the recent rumours about hanners? How's steele looking? The coaches look promising so far including Richo. I heard it all happened while he was out with Jussie Smollett. There is a screenshot of a text message exchange between two unknown persons doing the rounds that claims Hanners hamstring is a cover for a club imposed suspension. It also claims that the suspension is for drug use, which has come to light after a couple of strippers successfully extorted Hanners with some photos of his drug fueled partying.
I’m calling complete and utter bullshit on it. The Saints wouldn’t have appointed him to the leadership group under those circumstances.
The alternative is that we are at the third level of inception and counting.
I’m with you for three-quarters. That run and dash has been lacking. But Sincs has been a stand out when I’ve been at training and a few others have mentioned that too. I hope he has a big year. Hind can run and dash off a HbF.Want to see hind and parker on the wings at the intra club. Could be a massive weapon. But they will prob have newnes and sinclair yawn ******* fest.
I thought Bytel had his back operated on , is he back training already ? Im sure i read he was going home to his parents place for a monthThe coaches look promising so far including Richo.
