I mean having a bet should be about fun and a bit of enjoyment for the game........i have never gave any abuse to sports person any comments good or bad on social media. (Yes I do use Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, Youtube , WhatsApp etc) Sure, I'd make a joke on a thread such as this (I don't have any friends to discuss footy with- its just me & this forum) , but I wouldn't ever say threatening stuff. Have anyone here read any comments directly on social media? is it as bad as it sounds?

Normally i'd say it's bad form, but if some of these campaigners can't hit 15 disposals and destroy a 20 leg SGM they deserve all the abuse they get.

I think with the introduction of Same Game Multis- every player is under a bit more close attention from punters. This betting option wasn't available as far as I remember as 2 years ago. I use to only bet on things like: Totals, Match odds, and Lines.

Now with the introduction of SGM, in other sports such as : League and NBA. I can see where and why sports players are hating that attention especially in NRL and AFL where every stat counts. (Disposals/Tackles/Goals etc). Maybe its something the AFL and sports betting companies have to monitor in future for the safety of players. I wouldn't hold it back if they caught a person giving torrential abuse, and restricting their betting accounts as an example. There was a suggestion from an article I read somewhere that was considering banning markets such as unders/overs on disposals for instance or putting it in some sort of multi. I would hate to see the day a player harmed themselves over some mug punter giving abuse to them.

As a prop fapper I’d love to see markets on tackles & marks. Don’t know why bookies don’t make markets for them. Lazy pricks.

From time to time, I do see a few tackling markets up as novelty bets but I too would like to see this up. Think I saw one as recent as last week, on I think it was a certain player to get 7+ tackles in a match.....

Exactly - if you disrespect my money I'm going to disrespect you. I don't condone death threats but you can't not expect a little heat if you're accessible online. After all they are being paid a fixed salary in a performance-based industry partly funded by sports betting companies, i.e. punters!

I think we'll see goals in this match. Good weather mixed with lackluster defense, strong potential for a similar back and forth match as the Suns v Saints match at Metricon last week. As mentioned by others the Bombers backline is undesirable and the Suns big men will take marks inside 50. On the other side I think the Suns are also vulnerable, Collins has been solid but I can see him struggling today in good conditions. I think Essendon will get ontop of the clearances and get some nice kicks inside 50 to the advantage of the Essendon forwards.

McKernan 2+ @ $ 3.75 / 3+ @ $11.00 / 4+ @ $41.00 (SB)

McKernan is hit or miss, usually a huge miss. Terrible season to date, hasn't done anything of note since his round 2 3 goal haul against Sydney. However I think his odds are overs. Bellchambers should do most of the rucking. Big booming kick. Can clunk a mark. Kicked 4 against the Suns last season at Metricon.

Stewart 2+ @ $4.33 / 3+ @ $13.00 (SB)

Stewart will be parked in the forward line all game, he's 6ft 6 big boy will have opportunities at clunking a few marks. Goalless so far this season in two matches but I think he will have opportunity to show his worth.

King 2+ @ $1.91 / $3+ @ $3.75 / $4+ @ $10.00 (SB)

Don't need to say much here, already heavily covered by mouncey2franklin. Only King himself will hold him back from kicking goals, he will have every opportunity.

Day 2+ @ $3.75 / 3+ @ $11.00

Odds on 2 are quite low compared to earlier this season. He's been quite but this is a game that he will have chances. Essendon backline will struggle.
