Excuse the random posts but the clock is ticking,

With the top end talent being debatable to the point of no reason to discuss Thilthorpe, Hollands & McDonald im curious on thoughts on players that will be smokies and late pick ups for us.

For me my later pick hopes are:

Zavier Maher - if he played more games and accumulated more he would be in top 10 discussions
Jackson Callow - stated it a lot (ready made forward)
Ed Ford - Has some serious talent and X-Factor
Harry Sharp - Athletic off the charts, can turn into a good wingman. (Slight risk here)

Gamble player (maybe rookie draft):
Phoenix Spicer - Not 100% why but there is scary pace in this kid and X-Factor that gets me curious.
Reckon you should add Brodie Lake to that list...other than his endurance he ticks every other box to be a super value pick in later pick range...can seriously football and I doubt there's a player in this draft that can match him right across all Combine tests, speed, agility, leap you name it he has it and endurance is usually an easy fix if the player's committed. Commitment would seem to be there with the NT product venturing out of the NT to play in the WAFL last year and this year to SA to play for Central Districts...surely a good sign re commitment?

What stats were they, I must have missed them?

What pick did we use on Gollant?

What pick is the talk we're supposed to be looking at with Kolar?

Vs Western Jets Aug 31 : 2 disposals , 0 kicks, 2 hb's, 1 cp, 1 up, 0 Marks, 1 t, 1 i50.

Vs Bendigo Pioneers Aug 24 : 8 disposals, 6 kicks, 2hb's, 2 cp's, 5 up's, 3 Marks, 1 t, 2 i50's, 1 goal.

Vs Western Jets Aug 17: 6 disposals, 4 kicks, 2 hb's, 0 cp's, 6 up's, 5 Marks, 2 t, 1 HO, 2 i50's
Pre season trials this year I think

And after watching the entire All-Stars game and SANFL live pass games this year, yes. His biomechanics are just a bit slow, hand to foot, bending down, jumping etc. Some players are dynamic, he’s not.
Riley didn't play in the All Stars game, maybe you're mixing it up with last year's U17's Future Stars game?

For anyone doubting Hollands' ability, please watch this entire game. He is head and shoulders above the rest of the field, Phillips a close second in my opinion.

Then explain how Braeden Campbell got the medal for best player on the ground. I've watched the game numerous times and Phillips wasn't even in the same discussion with Campbell or Hollands that day.

'For that reason, he's 1' The reason might be one is from SA?

Good call out 👍

Hoping for Hollands from the 3 options being discussed but from the quick flicking through this thread I've done, seems like McDonald is the more likely of the options discussed.
