Hasnt really affected me but if chiefs vs pats gets knocked back a couple of weeks like titans vs Steelers it will get very messy for someone.

ive already said before i have contigencies in place. so far the season is still lurching ahead ok, owners have enough depth on roster to replace starters, and if things get too tight for too many teams cap wise, would temporarily push the cap to $100m for the year to allow waiver acquisitions if more are forced into IR due to covid, with IR being pushed to 18 then 27 depending. And.... noticed i havent continued to collect money? i wont ask for the rest until unless we make it thru ok. If theres a nfl season cancelation those who already paid it will be used for 2021s entry instead. no prizemoney for 2020 IF theres a canceled season or a too shortened season.

It's the rescheduling of games that is the bitch, especially if it's late in the week.
LennyHayes77 came up with a brilliant idea as commish in Jailhouse, he said if you nominate a backup for a starter of a game in doubt for this week he would manually change your lineup if the game doesn't go ahead..perhaps we can use that here also?

people can easily edit their lineups in MFL, and swap players in/out. Especially as the NFL is forewarning everyone games are being postponed. Empire has a huge roster size for people to call on. Not sure but Jailhouse could be a tinier roster and his idea helps.
So no need to do that in Empire. Owners have info readily available and roster depth. So far its only Titans and Steelers canceled. Got told early, owners changed lineups. NE postponed to Tuesday, so far going ahead, the NFL will inform us tonight if canceled or not. Owners can still be cautious and change all their NE-KC starters
But I'll have a look around the commish tools to see if theres a way to allow people to do similar, more automated rather than a manual mess of keeping notes... or another idea like bench scores added to final score... or another idea like a backup bubble of say 4 players that can be used to the starters total score.

Just leave it as is then if it's too hard. Don't like the idea of adding bench scores or anything.

Seems like a lot of work for commish especially if it gets worse. Let’s just see how it plays out. Like injuries could be just bad luck

Due to Covid19 (Hurricanes etc), theres always a chance games are postponed on late notice, or canceled. Or even questionable players that are ruled out hours before a game, before team owners have a chance to swap them out. Seeking a permanent option where team owners select their starting lineups, but also select a small group of bench players (say 4) that would serve as a reserves list. If a player is ruled out late for whatever reason above, a corresponding player from the reserve list would automatically have his score used toward the owners team score. Not using the whole bench score, thats unfair, but just a small group of reserves. Up to owners to decide which positional players to elect in the reserves list. If a CB is out, say, and theres no CB in the reserve list, then tough luck.

if a starting player ends up OUT and you have a corresponding player in your Reserve list, then ill manually edit your lineup after the games have been played, movibg the reserve in and the other guy out.
if you dont have a corresponding player, tough. also adds a tricky element to the reserve list, having to decide on stuff.
From week 5 onwards itll be in effect.

no, late scratches included. some player whos been questionable all week, maybe plays, maybe not, coach says, game time decision.
ill do it for 2020 and see how much of a hassle it is, maybe just a temp 2020 thing due to covid especially
