I thought we alternated the home games in Round 1 at Adelaide Oval each year?

Probably play away in the final round too. I really hope there’s no more than 3 weeks between home games (the past few seasons have had a 4-week gap at the halfway point), large gaps like that ridiculous 5-week period this year (involving that China game) simply do not work!!!

To be fair I reckon it could be a good game. Carlton on the rise and have the world to prove, plus Richmond coming off the premiership and a shortened pre-season won’t be in Top Gear yet.
After a 1st gamer Rankine kicks 5 or 6 on us and gets the Rnd 1 Rising Star nom.

Thought you’d have figured that out in 1997 over the guernsey situation.
Something else to show the afl doesn’t care: 2017-19 port adelaide had hosted the first showdown. So much for switching as was the argument to have you host the first showdown at adelaide oval.
