It was obvious early that we'd unlikely see any games of 2020 season in person. Clubs have played it well by waiting for the initial heat to go out of the situation before announcing these settlements. I think the majority of people are a lot more understanding and flexible now*. That's not just in terms of footy memberships either.

* Circumstance permitting - obviously some people are facing hardship because of the lockdown.

After twelve years as a legends member I’m out. I’m asking for a refund and if crowds come back next year I’ll sign up again next year as a season ticket holder.

We too; I wasn't 100% certain that last VFL practice game would go ahead, but I'm glad I chanced it. How many games did you get to?

I only had a $50 Magpie Insider membership because up until two months ago I lived in Hobart so it wasn't really worth it for me to buy a games membership. Because of the low value of the membership and the only benefits are the merch pack with the scarf, bumper stickers and fridge magnet, they didn't offer me a refund. I wouldn't have taken it anyway.

I do have an AFL membership however, and I chose to take the first option of the 30% discount for the 2021 membership, but from what I've read that might not have been the best value.

I've also got an AFL Membership and chose the 30% also.

2 I can think of the one vs North and the 1 vs Carlton at Princess Park.

Did the VFL have a 2nd Practice Game I am not sure IF there was one or not

Yeah, I went to one pre-season game in Morwell, one practice game at ikon park, and that VFL practice game @ Olympic Oval v Norf. We can cherish those moments because it may not be til next pre-season we can go again.

Probably be allowed at Training and might be a Small Chance at the Scrarch Matches later in the Year but Can't see be able to go to AFL Game this year

But then again, things change so quickly. Things have changed in the last week, and before that the week before that. Who knows what 4-5 months from now looks like.

True but I doubt they let 70k+ in 1 Place before a Vaccine.

No. But maybe a small amount, just could social distance around the ground? Or cap it off to a certain amount

Maybe but wouldn't they then have to have only Members at Games and have to take it in turns on who comes and who does not?

yeah, they could work something out. But would be tough. I guess we take things one week at a time. Things could look very different in 3-4 months.

Guess with AFL only Giving 4-5 Games in a Fixture at a Time leaves open the Small Possibility of Crowds.

Well end of next month you can have 500 people in a Stadium. Might be okay for Low Level Sports but not Top Level

Wasn't that 50 people?

You are right I thought I read 500.

Well that is not even worth it then.

Showing we are still quite away of having Crowds back at the Footy
Stage 3 is when is really ramps up. I think once we get past winter, they will increase gatherings.

I agree. That when gets Warmer there could be a Big Lift.

Well that as long as the States do what the Federal Government Advice's and Nothing Bad Happens.

There is a Chance we get go to AFL this year but would not get my hopes up to high. Bit more of Hope for Reserves Games
