Has anyone that pledged online, i.e. 50/75% option, received their refund yet? I chose as soon as the email arrived, and am yet to see it reflected in my bank account. I'm not in a position to call the club, and wait in a queue, due to living overseas.

I was going to pick 50% but then have it roll over into 2021

I got mine refunded to my credit card about a week ago.

Finally gave up and called this morning, never got a call back, lucky I had a lot of work to do at my desk took 47 minutes to get through, got offered all options for pledging, had to ask about the $60 offer specifically. Took the $60 option and all done in about three minutes, could have saved everyone a lot of time by just putting this on the website.

An email from the club saying the above, and that they wont be taking your money tomorrow if they haven't called you back wouldn't go astray though.

I requested a call back on May 27th. 30 days without a call or email is a bit of a letdown.
 
Rang yesterday and cancelled. I was number 26 in the queue and had over an hour wait.

Great memories. Will cherish the 90's.
 
I'm the gold member who will basking in our next premiership glory at the mcg to at least the equivalent of you. Made even sweeter by having held this sh*t show to account and forced the change necessary so the undeserving like you can enjoy the day too.

With your love of the amber there's no way in hell you are living to 90+.

Nothing to bear in mind. Its their own doing. Own it and deal with the negativity they deservedly get.

Feel for the staff that have to deal with the incompetence of the admin.

A situation that could have been avoided if all options were put on the table to begin with.

The worm has turned on Facebook. Alot of the happy clappers are getting restless.

A couple of weeks ago I saw or heard both KT and Fagan on membership pledges to date. Both said was good, KT said a figure, might have been 89% or like that. Fagan said he didn't have the info. How could he not know that? The only 2 reasons he'd revert to his go to move, bare face lying, is that the numbers aren't that good or he's a knob who sees any unspun info as a state secret.

Bear in mind that they could have had all options automated, eliminating the need for the monstrous call volumes. They could also have kept staff from other areas on jobkeeper, costing them next to nothing to help deal with the call volumes that they DELIBERATELY created. This is like excusing a drunk driver for crashing, "please bear in mind they were drunk and travelling really fast, hard enough to take that bend sober at that speed, let alone as drunk as that guy". They made their bed and they did make it difficult to get the maximum refund and to frustrate those that wanted to go that way.
