Oh shit. Its trade deadline day. Wow I thought it was moved back because of covid.

Well I'm expecting to wake up to a bunch of monster moves now.

Well I predicted the titans to get a CB on the podcast. But thought it would be Gilmore. But king was robbery at the price for the titans. Chargers really wanted him out.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports seven "close contacts" of Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey will be added to the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday.
We don't know the players yet, but none of the seven will be allowed to practice this week. It is important to remember that all seven still have time to get cleared for Sunday's game against the Colts. We should receive the names later Tuesday afternoon.

ESPN's Dianna Russini confirms the Packers have considered trading for Will Fuller, but that there is "disagreement at the highest levels of the organization" if the move would be "worth the spend."
Since the Packers lack a formal owner, this likely means the front office is debating the coaching staff. Contract-year Fuller would be expensive for a rental, but he would fill arguably the biggest need for the Super Bowl-or-bust Packers. Marquez Valdes-Scantling simply is not getting the job done as the team's deep threat. Fuller would maintain high-end WR2 value in Green Bay.

Broncos general manager John Elway and CEO Joe Ellis tested positive for COVID-19.
The team's top two executives will be away from the team while they recover from the virus. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said the team is confident the virus transmissions happened outside the team facility. Still, fantasy players should keep tabs on the Broncos' COVID testing results in the coming days. Denver is slated to play Falcons on Sunday.

Giants WR Darius Slayton has the seventh most air yards in the NFL.
After registering another 122 air yards on Monday night against Tampa, Slayton is just behind Tyreek Hill with 740 air yards. Calvin Ridley leads the league with 995 air yards. Sterling Shepard's return from injury has put a damper on Slayton's upside but its clear he'll still get downfield looks in the Giants' offense. Slayton should be treated as a WR3 option in Week 9 against Washington.

Giants TE Evan Engram has the third most targets among tight ends this season.
Travis Kelce and Darren Waller are the only tight ends with more targets through Week 8, which might come as a shock to Engram drafters who have stared longingly at waiver wire tight ends for much of the past two months. You'd think having the third most targets among tight ends and running the third most pass routes would make Engram a solid fantasy producer. You would be wrong. He's the TE16 after eight weeks. But in most leagues, you won't find a better waiver option.

Bears RB David Montgomery has run the third most pass routes this season.
Montgomery, doing next to nothing with massive usage in the Chicago offense, has seen his pass game involvement spike since Tarik Cohen went down with a season-ending ACL injury. Only Ezekiel Elliott and David Johnson have run more routes than Montgomery through Week 8. With the sixth most targets and the fifth most receptions among running backs, Montgomery will continue to have a decent PPR floor, even if ceiling games remain a fantasy for those who drafted the second-year back.

Patriots acquired WR Isaiah Ford from the Dolphins in exchange for a 2022 seventh-round pick.
It's a highly-unusual deal between division foes. 207 of 6-foot-2 Ford's 225 snaps this season have come in the slot. That's a place where Bill Belichick is always looking to add, but the Pats' need for experience there is acute after losing Julian Edelman to injured reserve. Ford has 18 grabs for 184 yards this season, but ESPN's Cameron Wolfe guesses the Dolphins would like to get Malcolm Perry, Lynn Bowden Jr. and Antonio Callaway more opportunities. It also benefits "big slot" man Mike Gesicki. Ford could quickly become PPR relevant for target-desperate New England.

Dolphins acquired RB DeAndre Washington from the Chiefs.
The compensation will almost certainly will be a conditional day-three pick. The Chiefs had too many running backs after signing Le'Veon Bell, and the Dolphins have a crowded, if underwhelming, running back room. Washington is capable of providing replacement-level depth on all three downs. It would take 2-3 injuries ahead of him for Washington to become a 2020 fantasy consideration.
