After his second test....

If this was a Crows player Caro and co would be calling for our club to be struck out of the AFL.

2nd test actually wasn’t until last night, also doesn’t sound like his first test was positive. Still, shouldn’t have been training if they weren’t certain.

AFL should relentlessly investigate Essendon to figure out how this happened.

Premiership points and draft picks should be stripped. McKenna suspended for the season, coaches suspended, the works.

Only fair

some how they will blame us and we lose draft picks

Poor Connor more unpopular at Essendon than Roo at Adelaide
Particularly as Essendon players can't train for 2 weeks as will have to self isolate... & 3 more players likely infected.

Their season us cooked. May as well kick them out.

Then they’ll get pick one

Basically there wasn't enough virus in his system to test positive, but it was there.
Or there was, and they didn't swab it.
Or the bits they were looking for on the panel just didn't get amplified by PCR.
Several reasons for false negatives.

Apparently 3AW just claimed McKenna was allowed to train after his positive test. In which case I can't see anything less than all points being stripped from them and forfeits for the games they miss.
From the way it sounded he had an irregular test result on Wednesday and then tested positive Friday.
Trained Friday which is ludicrous if there was a questionable test result.
