Got it so those on the bench that aren't playing this weekend can be changed after the lockout tonight.

Yeah like everyone else - changed team completely. Defence being the main caveat with no rookie options, with it raining 170k forwards all of a sudden. Glad to have the sicdawg back however and happy to see a lot of people seem to have jumped off Greenwood.

Personally not a fan, but just my opinion!!
Too many rookies on field and Zerk-Thatcher I think will be lucky to avg 40.
Also, put swap Budarick and Cavarra, better to have a DPP as a UTL
So sitting on this structure leading into final teams.
Kinda happy, kinda feel like it could fall apart at any moment.
Went back to a 3 rookie mid setup.
$182k spare for last minute changes also.

What are the odds Callum Sinclair is back in next week though? That's what's stopping me from going with Naismith at the moment

Think of that spot as R4 traditionally. Wouldn't normally make ANY money.

I would upgrade Sicily or Mcasey - Laird/Crisp or A.Cerra/Cumming or could possibly do both. Otherwise one more value pick Midfielder but that would mean tweaking some other positions
Thoughts on the following choices: I need a little help as I'm stuck on my last player (with not having any 170k defenders)
1. Def - J.Howe, McAsey. Fwd - Brander
2. Def - Brander, McAsey. Fwd - Bailey Smith
3. Def - Cerra, Cumming/Madgen. Fwd - Brander
5. Either of the above but with $517k to spend instead of Howe or B.Smith
6. Any 3 players of your choice that fit those rolls with a total of $994

what are your thoughts on cerra? is he guaranteed more midfield time this year? i haven't done much research this year as i expected the season to be cancelled
is 400k too much for someone like noble?

Personally think option 1 as Howe is the proven performer. Brander will be great defence cover

This is my round 1 team.
Have tossed and turned over starting Weller instead of Howe at times which means I would have to move Rowbottom down to a rookie to finance it. Sticking with Howe for now as I like Rowbums role and his PPM in Marsh was very good, also loves a hug.
Unsure if not having Anderson will hurt me much or not at all. Didn't seem to score at a quick enough rate in the marsh so happy to back in someone like Budarick instead and spend that 100k on going McCluggage to Oliver/Crouch/Yeo which is what I've done - chosen the proven performer over the potential breakout candidate. Could also bite me in the ass but willing to watch him play in the real stuff first and see whether or not suitcase actually gets more inside minutes with CEY in the team and Rayner potentially after more mid time.
I think Brodie can take the next step. Is a contested machine and great tackler, can see him upping his average to 105 odd (minus 20% now or whatever it's supposed to be). Has shown a great ceiling.
Mid priced mayhem in the forwards which gets a load of rookies off my field. That's personally what I think is safest this year as we are entering the unknown. Could also blow up in my face when cash generation slows. Who knows.
