Look, maybe we've all been a little harsh on Tom.
We don't even know how difficult his transition from GC to Richmond has been, Tom has been brave in his silence about that. Nor is it easy being one of the most targeted forwards in the competition with defenders regularly sneaking in punches behind play. If anything he's coped better than expected.
I've always liked what Tom's brought to the AFL. He's always struck me as an exceptionally down-to-earth bloke who'd be great to have a beer with. Don't even get me started on that mangy runt Mitch Robinson who's basically a rabid dog in need of a muzzle.
