Is there any way to listen to this on a digital radio or on a mobile with just the audio? The only link I see on the AFL website is for a video feed, and that would use too much mobile data
I can only see the video stream but the bit I heard was just recapping stuff we already know, ground that has been covered over 500 pages on this board already.

Yeah, someone's a bit keen. It's probably going to be the tamest trade period in years and they're going to spend a fortnight talking about it before it's even begun? 🥴

No Different then the Crap they normally talk

Did Mitch Cleary say November 27 surely he meant October?
November 24 is supposed to be the date for the draft unless they've changed it.

Hard to see how they will get through everything at just 13 hours a day!
Just get SEN to run it, that's only 42 minutes of content in between all the ads.

Basically all trade radio is anyway.
Ads, repetition, wild takes and speculation.

And yet we will all tune in, desperate for that minute of real news, then feel shame at the end of each and every day for giving in

A lot have tuned in, but seemed to have tuned out pretty quickly, too. Of the 3 million streams accessed last year, they averaged only 34 minutes of audio and only 23 minutes of video. Dunno why they would include those details. Pretty indicative of the quality of content. Haha.

From the AFL Trade Radio website;

'AFL Trade Radio begins on Monday, September 27. Footy fans can listen live and video stream Trade Radio on AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App from 7am–6pm each day until the Trade Period is complete on October 13, with a special deadline day coverage on the final day.

In 2020, AFL Trade Radio broadcast 146 hours of both radio and video across AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App. It amassed over three million audio and video streams on AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App platforms across 13 days. Both visual and audio consumption saw huge uptake in 2020; consumers spent an average of 34 minutes streaming audio content while they spent an average of 23 minutes consuming video content.'

Nah.

Couldn't pay me enough to listen to the clickbaiters making up stuff.

Wouldn't matter how much they offered to pay me - it won't be anywhere near enough.

Besides, I'll be busy watching my grass grow.
